  1. If you update the report code mapping on a report template and save it as a draft, the changes won't reflect on the draft template in the client’s organisation.

    You either need to remove the report from your template and add it again, or run a fresh template in the client organisation.

    Above the answer for my problem - such an obvious issue, surely Xero, you can sort this out without waiting for folks to vote on it !!

  2. We are trying to move all client records to Xero away from a different software provider but we need custom fields that we have built in Xero Practice Manager to be synced with Xero HQ please. This way we will be able to filter our clients using the custom fields that we have created which will then match what we can do in the software that we are trying to move away from.

  5. In the list of client files, an indicator or percentage to show the portion of bank transactions allocated by bank rules to identify client files which can be optimised and more efficient by automation and bank rules.

    If client files can then be sort by the indicator to then extract a list for action.

    In xero files, for each transaction recorded by a rule could there be an indicator (ie "rule applied") to differentiate transactions manually recorded and recorded via a bank rule.

  7. Improve the way clients can create accounts and log into an existing xero account.

    If we create an account for them, it asks them to put in their organisation details. Then we invite the client into the organisation, they have to accept the invitation.

    Clients are always having issues with their log ins, and signing documents. Feel this could be made easier for them.

  8. When requesting a transfer of the subscription, display a list of current users so that one can be "ticked" / selected as the receipient. As generally these are the clients anyway.
    This would ensure correct details, as the user name and email address is already in Xero.

  9. Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.

    Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.

    As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.

    Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.

    While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

  10. We need a transaction list for all contact where the unapplied payment amount reflects. It is very difficult to compare our Xero statement with transaction list from a supplier (or debtor for that matter) if you have to export the Xero report on the contact to be able to add up all applied payments and then only be able to compare statements.
    The Contact summary Report should have the option of seeing the report with applied payments or show the payment amount as it came (or was paid out) to suppliers / customers.

    Hi Elmie, just trying to understand your idea here a little better - when you mention 'unapplied payment amount' would this be an amount that's been paid by your customer but hasn't yet been applied to the invoice, or the outstanding amount of an invoice once payment has been applied ?

  11. Currently the report's filters only available to filter thing that " contain " in the respective categories. Can you please also include the option "do not contain" - so that we could produce report to omit things that we would not wish to include. Thank you

  12. Have the ability to create more than one report style (colour and logo) so when you export to a 'Styled PDF' there are choices beyond 'no styling' and your default.

    Hi team, we appreciate interest in being able to create more customised layouts when it comes to the styling of the PDF's of your reports.

    Being upfront this isn't a feature we have immediate plans around but we'd like to keep tracking the interest from community around, through this idea.

  13. Ability to bulk Accept Subscription Transfers- when accepting transfers or converting clients in bulk from QBO or QBD the ability to bulk accept the organization under the firm would save significant amount of time.

  15. Sync all data to Xero HQ.

    We have been moved over to single client record and need notes and custom fields to be synced as well please.

    This would prevent the need to manually update client records and prevent risk of out of date data.

    Thanks for contributing to this idea, everyone. As part of the single client record we've recently made a change so now when you record a client note in Xero HQ or Xero Practice Manager each system are now reflected in the other.

    We appreciate there is a second part of the idea here surrounding custom fields. Custom fields are being developed with current work the team have underway, and eventually you'll be able to see custom fields reflected in both systems (Xero HQ and XPM), too. We'll keep you updated of further news for this here.

  17. Home page or landing page -- can you put the "go to xero" button on the left of the client's name? The new page makes it so I have to scroll so far to the right to get to those buttons, that I no longer know which client is on which line of the table. It is harder to log in and go directly to my client's books now.

  18. Add a custom column similar to a custom row into reports.

    This would be used to include quantities for livestock reports, for automating % of trust distributions payable to beneficiaries prior end of June.

    This currently can't be done in reports.

  19. Be able to see the email body of the document pack that was sent or alternatively a copy of the document pack sent to the staff member who sent it to the client so that there is a record of what the email body contained.
