  2. Rename "other name" field to "middle name/s", need another field for casual name (say for example people that go by their middle name) and also put first name or casual name on contact details screen that is shown on front screen, currently showing other name for some reason...

  4. Is it possible to add a few extra columns to XPM - All jobs board rather than creating different reports or clicking on different jobs/pages to collate basic client information. I would like to add the following columns to assist with Trusts and Superfunds.

    -Trustee/Company Name
    -Invoice Number

    Currently, if you invoice a Trust e.g. ABC Family Trust for XYZ Pty Ltd (Trustee), I would like to see both entities in Jobs board and not just ABC Family Trust. This comes in handy when chasing payments or matching jobs as a result in separate jobs linked to a Trust or…

  7. Expose the staff billable rate on the XPM API?

    The billable rate for staff timesheets/tasks aren't available for jobs until they are invoiced, and there's no way for integrations with XPM to understand the in-progress cost of a job without getting the staff billable rate... or if there's an override on the job.

  10. In tracking summary we can compare revenue and cost if we are using the tracking category as a cost center for any EPC work. Right now there is no option in xero for this reporting.

    In the attached file we have details of cost of sales but no revenue details for the specific job. We can add a column or give a option in the layout edit to add the ledger or group in column to compare.

    It would be helpful to track the revenue and cost of a project with this feature.

  11. As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.

    One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details. My administrative team often finds themselves in the tedious and risky position of copying and pasting this critical information due to the API constraints. This not only consumes valuable time but also poses potential security risks.

  12. 90% of the time when I want to move a timesheet entry it is to a different job for the same client and probably 99% of the time it is to a job for a client in the same group.

    However the "To" list that pops up is for all clients and when you type the first few letters of the client name it appears on the bottom line of the screen so you still usually have to scroll down to find the correct job.

    Is it possible to make all the jobs in the "From" client's group appear first…

    Thanks for all the detail around the different scenarios a pause function for the timer would help with.


    Our team have been taking interest in ideas in the forums here. 

    With the way the timer works with Practice Manager today, developing the ability to pause this would require extensive work and this isn't something we're able to resource at this time.


    As we enhance integrations through practice manager our practice teams will continue to track ideas on the site here, and share if there's any change.

  14. You have 4 other online cloud document management systems listed via XPM. We use SharePoint and would request this to be added as a further option to link our programs for efficiency and easy of use.

    We would then like tasks to be setup in jobs, that we can "link" documents in Sharepoint, to tasks/jobs in XPM.

  15. Provide an option under the client group to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group with one invoice.

    At the moment it appears this can only be done under Invoices in the Business menu. Under the client group itself, while an invoice can be created for multiple jobs for one client, you can't create a single invoice to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group.

  16. The Productivity Dashboard calculates productivity different to that of a built report. The % of productivity on the dashboard should be calculated as follows

    • Actual Productivity Divided by Actual Hours. Currently it divides Actual Productivity to Actual Capacity which is incorrect. The Actual Capacity is not actual hours and it needs to be

  18. Provide the ability to schedule requesting on a daily basis the EFT Reconciliation reports in XPM, currently being a manual request locked behind Business settings permissions.
    Provide also the resulting reports in either a Custom Reports area or standard reports so admin staff without the Business Settings permissions can view the ATO EFT reconciliation reports, filtered by date and Tax Agent Number. Possibly add a permission to view these reports as a separate permission.

  19. When you view a contact, and are on the activity view page, it would be great if the each line said what account the activity has been posted against. This way you could see all accounts impacted at once, and not have to click on each individual line item to see what account it is impacting.

  20. In XPM jobs, have the option to view all timesheet narration and time spent in the financial tab. Currently, it only shows the task and time time/cost, but not the narrations. Previous Xero product WorkflowMax had the ability to show all timesheet narration of a job in the financial tab without clicking into the Billing Work Sheet. See attachment 1 for an example.
