  1. Tasks. We would love to be able to manually add a task or reminder so that the next time we logged into a clients Xero we can see the reminder to check or do something.

  3. Fewer clicks - Help banner on each page. I would like to be able to disable this permanently for established clients.

  4. To have the search function look up bank accounts by name or number. As we have approx 80 bank accounts in one Xero dashboard scrolling to find the correct one is very time consuming, so a search function would be very handy.

    Thanks for your idea, Simone. Gosh that is a lot of bank accounts I can see why a search would help. No immediate changes planned for this but I'll share your feedback with our product team and we'll get a sense of others that'd find this useful from your idea, here. 🙂

  5. Would be great to customise the Homepage across all your 450 clients at once via a global setting. Then deal with outliers individually on their own homepage.

    Not sure why it's designed for single org users only. Need a way to do this on scale please!

    Awesome to hear you're getting a feel of the homepage, Charles. Thanks for taking your time to feedback on what changes would make the most impact for you.

    I'll make sure to share your feedback with our product teams. For now we'll get a sense of interest from others in the beta here, and I'll keep you updated if any plans for a global setting are made.

  6. The beta version of the new Xero layout. updated interface feels overly busy and cluttered, which makes navigation more difficult—particularly for clients who manage multiple bank accounts.

    I believe users should have the choice to switch to the new layout when they’re ready, rather than being automatically transitioned.
    Additionally, clients pay for Xero to streamline their financial management, not to have advertising pushed at them.

    The current design detracts from the user experience and makes it harder to find and complete tasks efficiently.

    Hi Kelly, and others that have joined the idea here sorry it's taken me a little to round back.

    We really value the feedback we've been receiving on the visuals of the homepage and our customers feelings on the sizing and layout of widgets.

    • related to sizing of widgets - we have another idea that'd also be good to vote and stay updated on

    Regarding any issues on opting out - I connected with our product team, and understand there was a brief issue for a very small group of users right at the beginning of the beta that may have caused trouble for some when trying to Opt out however I can confirm this was quickly fixed and shouldn't inhibit them any longer.

    However, it's worth noting that only the Subscriber can choose to opt out and this will remove the experience for everyone within that org, there is…

  7. The ability to access the setting for each menu item is great.
    The ability to create a sales invoice for billable expenses from the billable expense is outstanding.
    The button to View transactions on each bank account on the home page is excellent but I would like this button for accounts that have items to reconcile as well. Fewer clicksHelp banner on each page. I would like to be able to disable this permanently for established clients.Sales tab.
    Love the "Billable Expenses", Needs to be aboveQuotes. Need to be able to not bill them where I have a project invoice. Just assign the customer.

  8. ​Love the look and ability to customise widgets for clients. It would be great if we, as Advisors, can specify then the client can change.

    Displaying the client logo in the top left is great but way too small to be effective

  9. Please could you add a 'Back to the top' button, especially on the reconcile and report pages, but every page would be useful.
    After scrolling down many line items, it would be far quicker to have this function implemented for ease.

    Hi team, thanks for showing interest in this idea.

    While we don't have any plans for adding this within Xero atm, as mentioned in my last update if you're working on a desktop you can use the 'Home' button on a Windows, or on a Mac you can press the 'Command' key + Left arrow.

    This should help when navigating a long lists or pages like reports.

    We will continue to track the appetite through this idea.

  10. Can the main pull down bar (Dashboard, Business, Accounting, Projects, Contacts) be fixed at the top of the page? When viewing a screen that has 100 or more lines, it would be a lot more convenient to have immediate access to this than having to scroll all the way back up.

    Hi team, we appreciate all the feedback this idea has received over time. With our reimagined navigation this is something our product teams considered closely, however there is a bit of work involved to achieve what's being asked and we want to be open it's not in the roadmap right now. However, we're keeping a pulse on the feedback here and will be sure to share if there's any progress. Thanks

  11. It's very hard to tell multiple organizations apart, particularly if they have the same initials. Currently, Xero simply displays the organizations' initials. It also assigns a random color to each organization. It would help distinguish these greatly if the organization settings allowed me to upload an avatar for each organization. Xero's Demo Company already illustrates how this feature would look. Also, it would help edit the color Xero assigns so that the color could match each organization's branding.

  12. When a person has more than 5 organizations in their portfolio the 'Change of Organization' drop down list only shows the most recent 5 used. It would be helpful if ALL your organizations showed on screen to choose from. Or of course, having the option to reduce to the 5 normal.

    Thanks team, we really appreciate the feedback we have received and how having more visibility of quotes within the new Homepage would be useful to customers.
