How could Xero improve navigation or homepage?

Highly agree that this would be a significant improvement. Surely with all the smart people on board at Xero you can lock the top menu!

I believe this should be standard.
We often do this in spreadsheet to make it easier to know what list is what.
Great idea, this will just help to cement my thoughts with continuing to use Xero.

This is an excellent suggestion and one that should be prioritised sooner rather than later. Having the navigation bar frozen (sticky) at the top of the page while scrolling would save a significant amount of time. Continuously scrolling back up, whether a few lines or hundreds, is an inefficient use of time, especially given the constant focus on reducing clicks and improving workflow efficiency.

Commented on this some time back and still see it as important. The home button on the keyboard helps in the interim.

the blue ribbon on top should be frozen to have quick access to different activities (blocks) like ribbon & headings in Excel. scrolling up and down with mouse is annoying, takes a lot of time.

Blue Banner PIN on TOP

Blue Banner should be freeze on top.

Can you freeze the blue banner at the top of the screen. This helps when bank reconciling or looking through large reports and you need to navigate to another part of Xero

I can't believe that with the amount of users Xero has, that this is not a priority and has not just been fixed or implemented from the beginning.

Please just have a fix implemented, this is a big efficiency issue which in the end creates a cost.

Is there a way to escalate this? As the only reason I knew this was an idea was due to customer support saying they know it is an issue, but you can vote here as a handball. The problem with ideas, is that for me to find and idea like this one, I have to use the same wording, which would never find this as it was "Is there a way to make the menu pinned, always on top or sticky to the top of the page all the time for quick access?"

Xero is a platform with the intention to help business save time, so please Xero work as a team with your subscribers to better the system for all of us.

This seems like such a basic thing and, as an interface idea, development of this idea should not affect any database functionality. Thank you @Kelly Munro for giving some idea on how to work around it, but it really should be implemented in the software interface. Thank you

Can we please have the top blue header menu (i.e. the one with Dashboard, Business, Accounting etc) fixed at the top of the screen so that when I scroll down it stays at the top of the screen - especially on the reconciliation screen?

It is a lot of scrolling every client, every day.

Fix the top 2 ribbons (Client -blue & account- white) in Xero, so that you don't have to scroll back to the top to open another screen. Or have the ability to fix them. It is a lot of scrolling every client.

Could the main blue Xero bar at the top of the page with all the options on stay fixed at the top so even if you are at the bottom of the page you can choose where to go next rather than having to scroll back to the top of the page each time?

A pretty rudimentary software feature.....I wonder sometimes if the developers even use the software.

Make the blue header at the top (ie blue row showing company name and menu items) a sticky header.

Please freeze the top two banners so that we can navigate the file without scrolling or tabbing to the top everytime. This would be useful when searching, looking through a large list of AP or AR or reconciling, payroll reports and to go to another client file - and to remind us which client file we are in on a busy day !!

Now that we can have 50 transactions in a bank account, it would be nice if you could pin the top of the screen so we can click on the Dashboard, Business, Accounting, Contacts, etc. tabs even if we're at the bottom of the page so we don't have to scroll all the way back up.

What about freezing the Bank Account name under the blue bar ... so while reconciling you can easily see which bank account you are working on without losing your place, especially when you are reconciling transfers between accounts and you have multiple tabs open, one for each bank account.
