We appreciate some of our customers find keyboard shortcuts very useful for navigating. Thank you for sharing your interest in this with us, here.
Our product teams are aware of the interest in this here and it would be great to hear more of the specific shortcuts you'd find most useful here. We'll share any updates with you here.

Thanks for your idea, Michelle. Great to hear how a checklist could improve your experience when working in client orgs. We'll start gaining interest from your idea her7e and I'll share if there are any plans made.

Hi everyone, we appreciate the attention this idea has been getting. It's really good to hear how we can continue to improve the Homepage for our differing customers needs. We understand not all the widgets maybe useful to every user, and the 'Customise' button will let you add or remove widgets to reduce what you see on the Homepage.
Taking on board feedback we're looking at the sizing of widgets and you'll find the 'Chart of Accounts' and 'Cash in and out' widgets are now smaller by default with an option to 'Make larger' - You can follow further updates for this on the idea here.
We have plans to dig deeper into possible 'view' options (like the different levels of views being asked here) in the new year and I'll share further updates here when this gets picked up. 🙂

Thanks Simon, it does appear that you're referring to the jobs related to workpapers directly that you'd record mileage for.
This isn't something that we have plans for right now, but we'll track the interest and share if there are any changes to update you on.

I think additional personalized column would be beneficial, it could be mileage, or how many working hours has been done for to complete the job for internal recording.
You can use quantity column for quantity mileage then use the rate in the next column. Xero is not designed for ABC costing, but some additional ability to cost control would help many companies. And it would postpone the decision to change the accounting system. -

It seems that authors of Xero do not understand UK rules for mileage.
It is important to be able to enter mileage, rate with no VAT, and rate with VAT element.
Vehicles can be very different (petrol, diesel, electric, hybrid, and other kinds are on the way). There are 2 different EV charges rates in UK (home and public) it must be distinguished. Motor bicycles must be treated differently, push-bikers would like to be repaid mileage...
Employees do not know those rules, they only submit mileage at rate what they hope to be repaid. Accountant should be able to correct it and post it to the proper accounts, free from errors.
Mileage claim should have options to fill by submitter: Vehicle type, fuel type, engine size (if applicable), journey date, description, reason for journey, numbers of miles, passengers' quantity, rate to choose (depends on total mileage allowance, passenger number, type of vehicle...). Accountant should be able to edit everything and be able to split mileage or add a line if needed; also, it must be the possibility to split rates into vatable and not vatable, in accordance with GOV advisory fuel rates what changes quarterly.
Ideal solution would be automated matching DateOfTrip+TypeOfVehicle+EngineSize+FuelType===>to AdvisoryRateForThisTypeOfTransportAtTimeOfJourney
