Hi everybody, coming across from the previous forums we know this idea has a lot of interest.
There is a way of using Xero's reports to accomplish what you're asking here and save the format so you can easily access and send this report to your customers outside of Xero.
Running the Aged Receivables detail report you can choose how many ageing periods you'd like to show and set the period to '30 days'. Simply Filter the report by Contact and Update to run.
- Once you've got it set up, save as Custom so you can easily access this format anytime
- If you deal with groups of contacts this also means you could Filter for multiple contacts to combine the view into one report rather than multiple customer statements 🙂
- Export the report to PDF, where you can send to customers from your email system outside of Xero

The current statement layout is like none I have seen before. Could we please have a template that will include 30, 60 and 90 days like other software.

Hi everyone, we understand you'd like more consistency in the documents you send from Xero and appreciate all your feedback on Remittance customisation here. While we have longer terms intentions to improve branding across Xero, this is not roadmapped for development at present.
We'll continue to stay connected to the idea here and engage to share when there is opportunity to develop in this space.

I would very much like to change the remittance advice layout as it looks out of place compared to all of the other branded items. It also includes fields that I do not want to include and excludes others that I would like to include.

Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate your engagement and sharing how custom fields would be advantageous to you here.
With lots of work for 'building on beautiful' underway atm, we want to be honest that custom fields is not planned in the near term.
Some in the idea here, may find the recent addition of Notes that can be added within the Contact Details section of a contacts record useful in being able to record and view specific detail relative to a contact at present - More on this shared here
We'll continue to evaluate the viability of largely voted ideas such as this when there is resource, however this unlikely in the next 12 months.

Thank you Gary. The Statey app would definitely add the 30-60-90 day aging to the xero statements but unfortunately a minimum fee of £5 per month is a lot to pay for what should be standard.
