Hi Everyone, thank you for the time taken to give us the feedback on this feature. Im happy to say this idea is in development and will be added to the new Xero Workpapers experience in early 2026. Hi community, appreciate the desire for more formatting in new Workpapers and this is something our product team would like to explore more but with a few other items in the pipeline atm isn't road mapped just yet.
We'll continue to gauge the interest in this idea and as soon as there are updates I'll share with you all, here.

Hey thanks for raising this Idea with us regarding amortisation options in the New Workpapers calculator. Hey Everyone! Thanks for the feedback on the New Workpapers experience. Xero Ask is available on the Classic Workpapers but as yet not available in the new Workpapers experience. One of the main reasons I haven’t moved to New Workpapers yet is that Classic Workpapers allows you to send client queries, even though New Workpapers has better functionality in other areas like checklist customisation.
Even just the Classic Workpapers BAS workpaper would be a good start.
