   Hi everyone, thanks for all your support and feedback of how changes in navigation could help your use of Xero. While not across all areas of the product there are some updates in Bills that we wanted to share and may help the needs of some in the idea here.

   We've launched Bills quick view where there's now an eye icon within the line of the bills list. From here you'll find more ease in viewing, and more recently being able to edit bills from this view without having to leave the list, meaning you can simply make adjustments and move from one bill to the next.

   We'll continue to explore and develop solutions like this to help our customers get more out of Xero on the go. I'll keep you informed of other updates that could enhance your experience, here.

   Appreciate all the feedback and ongoing support here. We recognise the main areas this has been asked across are invoices, bills, contacts, bank statements, and reports. Also it appears there are some users here that’d like to navigate between pages of a list while others that’d like to open transactions and navigate back to their placing on a list.

   For moving between pages of a list, there are a couple of other features that may be useful, such as;

   • Increasing the # of items that are shown per page (available from the bottom of the page)
   • On many devices you’ll find ‘End’ and ‘Home’ keys that allow you to quickly navigate to the bottom and top of a page which could also save effort in scrolling the page
   • Within reports you’ll find the bottom navigation is now frozen so regardless where you are on the page of a report you’ll always have these options visible and selectable.

   For opening of transactions though not available in all areas, within Bills we’ve released a quick view and edit. Enabling you to make changes to transactions on the fly without having to navigate away from the list which may help for some atm.

   We’ll consider how we can incorporate these features across other areas of Xero as we keep developing Xero, however want to be open that this isn’t planned in our roadmaps currently.

   For the meantime, right clicking and opening a transaction in another browser tab would save having to navigate away from the list.

   As navigating pages would be developed separately in each area of Xero, it's most useful for our product teams to gauge interest in each idea separately. We have an existing idea you can join for this within Bank reconciliation, and have started ideas for contacts, bills and invoices that we’d love your feedback through

   • Bank Reconciliation - Account Transaction / Bank Statements - Pagination at top of page
   • Contacts - Options to navigate pages of the contacts list from the top of screen
   • Bills - Options to navigate pages of the contacts list from the top of screen
   • Sales Invoice - Options to navigate pages of the contacts list from the top of screen

   Hi everyone, I want to assure you your voice is heard here and feedback is being shared back with our product teams.

   We understand the desire to get this idea moving along and as mentioned in our last update we know this is an area that more controls and permissions would be most beneficial to our customers.

   We’d like to share progress that we’re making for banking permissions - Work to provide more controls of sensitive banking information has started and will initially include the ability to restrict users from seeing sensitive banking information such as; account balances, bank transactions, and financial summaries.

   We know this doesn’t relieve all pain points of this idea - It’ll be the first phase, a stepping stone of sorts in the development of per-bank controls.

   As development continues we’ll share further updates as soon as they’re available with you all here.

   This is hugely important as we are a family business and therefore want to keep our savings and high interest bank accounts private from other staff. I only require staff to have access to our main working - current account. I am able to enable this feature in my online banking account so it seems odd that xero does not also provide this facility.
