    Hi everyone, we totally get how automating the sending of receipts when a transaction is reconciled would free up time and the manual task involved in this activity.

    Though not in the pipeline at present, this is a feature our product team would like to explore more in the future.

    I think there have been suggestions provided that do help with some of those hurdles. A tick box as a global setting or at the time of reconciliation is always a good idea otherwise it may be worthwhile having a send receipt button on reconciliation and having them automatically sent out at 1am the next morning. Having both the manual control on the reconciliation and a global setting for automation would benefit all (Opt in of course). The majority of other providers have it so understandably, I'm sure most users do see this as the bare minimum for software that is designed to handle finances at its core.

    Hi everybody, coming across from the previous forums we know this idea has a lot of interest.

    There is a way of using Xero's reports to accomplish what you're asking here and save the format so you can easily access and send this report to your customers outside of Xero.

    Running the Aged Receivables detail report you can choose how many ageing periods you'd like to show and set the period to '30 days'. Simply Filter the report by Contact and Update to run.

    • Once you've got it set up, save as Custom so you can easily access this format anytime
    • If you deal with groups of contacts this also means you could Filter for multiple contacts to combine the view into one report rather than multiple customer statements 🙂
    • Export the report to PDF, where you can send to customers from your email system outside of Xero

    Hi team, while the status of this idea remains unchanged from our last post we did want to provide an update in the channel here.

    As shared previously there's the possibility of exploring third-party apps like Google's High Contrast, which allows you to change the colour on your screen so it's easier to read.

    Our Xero Accounting app is a bit of a different kettle of fish and for iOS users there is a dark mode available from the 'Appearance' option that you can navigate to from the 3 dot menu in the top right of the app screen.

    Though we fully understand and appreciate needs for wanting dark mode, the ability to develop this requires resource from across all areas of product to implement in the web version. Providing dark mode is not on our current roadmap.
