    Appreciate the interest in being able to search by description. While we're attentive to your feedback, I want to be open that we don't have any immediate plans for developing this atm. 

    We're staying close to feedback on how we can improve navigation for our customers when using Xero, and I'll let you know if there is any development planned surrounding this, here. Thanks

    This would hugely assist, particularly as I assumed in the search box where it says "Description or Contact Name" - What "Description" does this refer to? I describe as accurately what the transaction was for so that I can find it again. eg USB Cable or Staff Lunch etc

    I have always attached a receipt, marked as a billable expense and assigned to a customer during reconciliation. Reconciliation is the right time to do this, right? I only realised there was no proof of disbursement until requested by a client. It's surprising that this isn't part of the invoicing system. The extra process to save a a receipt, track it down (sometimes months later) and reattach is basic double handling.
