    Morning,

    i have workaround for this.

    However would still appreciate xero to enhance the feature letting user go back to their original page after doing the editing,

    eg, Edit the bills reference from PO number (serve as GRN goods received), to invoice number (when invoice received by finance dept).
    After edit the reference and check the tax for the inv is correct, click "update", the screen will go back to the page "bills to pay".

    The following is my current work around for the above. I booked mark the "bills to pay" page, so whenever i click the book mark, it will direct me to the page.

    Hope this helps those who are still searching for the solutions.

    Not knowing if this help.
    After selecting say 60 bills, put the "payment plan date" say 31.10.2023.
    Continue doing the selecting of bills to be paid, say another 80 bills put the same plan date 31.10.2023.
    Once you have selected all the bills to be paid and have put the plan payment date, go to Business-bills to pay-filter the plan date 31.10.2023, you got the whole list of bills that you are going to pay, select all of them and do your payment run ?

    Hi everyone, thanks for the interest in this idea.

    As you can appreciate, user roles span across the entire Xero product so there’s many combinations of permissions our customers want to see us build. Specifically, our reporting product team is very much aware of the challenges with the current permission sets relating to sharing individual reports with different users and are beginning to look into how we might be able to alleviate some of these reporting challenges.

    However, at this stage it’s far too early to anticipate or confirm any direction on where this discovery work will lead, but it will inform our next steps. Additionally, as I'm sure you can appreciate there are sensitivities of data access and security. Creating upgrades to user permissions will need very careful consideration. As most will be across, the reporting  team are leading up to retiring older versions of Xero’s reports on 31

    Morning,

    Maybe for each report, the advisers can assign who can viewed that respective report.

    AP summary & details can viewed by who handle Ac Payable role.
    AR summary & details can viewed by who handle Ac Receivable & respective sales personnel.

    Inventory details report for people handle inventory.......and so on.

    It is troublesome that only the advisers can pull report for other department as and when is needed.

    My colleague always need to check AR & AP ageing. However they do not have the access to REPORT. They always need finance people to pull the data for them which adding burden to finance colleague who is buzy with other task.

    My colleague always need to check inventory status (the qty, the transaction related to inventory). However they do not have the access to REPORT . So giving them access to Business - product and services allowing them check inventory every now and then.

    Currently they always need to trouble colleague who has the report access to give them the inventory report . That is adding burden to colleague who is buzy with other task.

    Thanks for all your input and sharing how we can improve Xero's user roles to cater for the needs of your business and staff you'd like to provide this access for.

    As you may have seen in other ideas we've been conducting some research into user roles across all of Xero. As a step on from this, one of our teams are beginning a deeper dive into solving this idea here and enabling more roles access to Products & services (Inventory) in Xero.

    While this may take sometime to accomplish we wanted to provide an update to you all interested in this, and we'll keep you informed of further progress as the team begin looking into it.

    Prefer to have

    1. the reference number (user manually added)
    on RIGHT Top corner and with bigger font, say BOLD Arial 13

    2. description for each line of the journal.

    3. the acc number & Ac name
