Hi Chris, apologies as returning to your idea here and checking in with our product team I can confirm it is not currently possible to create Workpaper packs for individuals unless they have a Xero subscription.
This is something our team intend to look into longer term, and I'll be keep you updated of any progress surrounding this here. Thanks

Hi everyone, we appreciate your feedback on new Workpapers through the forums here. Our product teams are continuing to closely review the ideas our community bring to us and consider these closely as they plan their roadmap.
I will be sure to share if there are any updates to share on adding new workpapers that will fit the needs here.

Hi team, we appreciate the interest this idea is receiving and while we don't have immediate plans are watching the feedback around Workpapers that we're receiving through the forum here closely, to help inform the roadmap.

Thanks to everyone who's shared feedback here. Over time, the conversation has broadened from the original request: the ability to create custom-designed workpapers, similar to Classic Workpapers, with tailored calculation rows, sections and mapped account codes.
This is something we're actively exploring and will share another update soon. We’ll use this idea to track that broader customisation capability.
Requests for specific worksheets are best tracked separately:
- Inter-entity loan workpapers
- Division 7A loans
- Motor vehicle private use and FBT
- Franking credits - add payment dates
- Investment income
- Profit appropriation/distribution
Tracking these separately helps us understand interest, needs and use cases. Please make sure to add your vote to these if of interest, or start a new idea for a new one.

Hi everyone, thanks for the additional feedback we’ve received on this idea.
We understand that workpaper packs may sometimes need to be updated when the wrong financial year, dates, accounting method, template, or staff assignments are selected.
Earlier this year, we released the ability to edit pack settings, helping teams make these necessary changes without starting again. Template updates can also be applied to existing packs by refreshing them.
We recognise that there are cases where a pack may have been created for the wrong client or needs to be removed entirely. We’ll continue using your feedback to understand where deletion would provide the most valuable outcome, while also considering how we mgiht cater in the event a pack is accidentally deleted.
I’ll share any further updates here.

Hi Karin, would it be possible to get a few more examples of names that you've tried to import and not have show with macrons?
One of our team have tested creating a contact via import with the name Whakatāne (/mækrn, me-/) and this created a contact in Xero as shown in this image.
It'd be great to better understand and see if we can look into this a bit more.

Hey everyone, thanks for all your valuable feedback and support on this idea here.
It's nice to see tips being shared throughout this thread to help others managing multiple assets. The suggestion to group similar items (like office chairs or laptops) into a single asset with a quantity can be an efficient way to handle things. When you need to dispose of some, you can then perform a partial disposal by updating the quantity, which helps save a few steps.
Wanting to share an update for you all, although I appreciate it will not be the news hoped for - Developing the capability to bulk dispose assets isn't on our current roadmap. We will keep an active eye on the support this continue to build here and be sure to let you know if anything changes here.

This would be a huge time saver for disposing of multiple assets when a business is sold
We currently use the classic workpapers as they have the ability to be set up for any type of client. Are the classic workpapers still going to be available in the future or are we going to have to look at coming up with another way of reviewing & signing off on those without a Xero subscription?
Would prompt us to look at other all encompassing workpaper packages as we don't want to have multiple systems in place.
