Hi everyone, we know our customers would like more efficiency and simpler methods when logging in to use Xero.

We're pleased to share that our product team have begun work to enable logging into Xero using passkeys.

We'll shift to Under review and I'll return to keep you updated of progress in this space. Thanks

Hi community, we appreciate many businesses have adopted single sign on with providers like Google, Microsoft Azure/Entra, and Okta to easily streamline logins to many applications and manage operational risk. Our team are staying close to votes and feedback of the idea here, and though we can't commit to development at this time, we will be sure to let you know of any progress toward enabling single sign on

Integration with identity providers is essential these days to let business control how they want their users to authenticate and ensure strong phishing resistant MFA can be enforced.

I run a cyber security business and it is embarrassing for Xero that this feature is yet to be implemented.

With the new financial year about to start I will be looking at other products for my accounting needs.

Thanks for your feedback and interest in the idea here. We appreciate the desire for being able to enable employees to make these changes themselves.

While this is something the team will continually review as they keep developing Payroll for Australia, we want to be open that this is not in the direct plans atm.

If there are any changes or progress for developing this we'll be sure to come back and update you on this, here.

My business is doing the 4 day work week (8 hrs per day mon-thu) and this is crucial for us to be able to manage our employee leave. It currently thinks a day of leave is 6.4 hrs (32/5) and cannot account for the fact that we don't work on fridays and so leave should not be applied on those days. I thought of a hack of creating my own holiday calendar to handle the friday thing but the 6.4 hours per day problem still remains.
