Appreciate the need in being able to add these extra address details in when entering your invoices. Thanks for sharing with us here.
We have work underway that'll enhance the detail that can be added in the contact card when using new invoicing and will be providing more lines to enter your contacts address details. I'll return to let you know once this is released.

Appreciate your feedback here, we're currently working on some updates to the line item grid where you enter the detail of your invoices and the 'Item' field is located. Part of the work the team are doing in this space should also address issues you've noted in the loading of items when you're invoicing.
We'll keep you updated of this change here.

Hi everyone, to keep you updated on this idea work in this space will provide the ability to add a new blank row to your invoice one at a time. Once added you'll also have the ability to drag and drop the row to where you'd like it placed in your invoice, which we know some customers use to help format their invoices and space lines out.
I appreciate that some customers have mentioned wanting to add multiple blank rows at once, and want to be open that this isn't planned with this release.
Being under development atm, we plan to have this to you all before classic invoicing is retired and I'll be back as soon as it's out to let you know, here.

Hi everyone, some time on since my last update I wanted to give you more of an idea of the work we have going on to help reduce the number of steps and actions in new invoicing. Along with the changes mentioned in my last update, we've since released a change to the view of an invoice to shift details back into their own columns (similar to classic), while a small change we know it's improved visibility for some of our customers.
We also have other work in development atm that’ll further help here like a new line item grid when editing your invoice - wrapped up in this we’ll be introducing changes you’ve been asking for like the ability to create a new tracking option or account code without having to navigate away from the invoice, we’re increasing the number of items that you can view from the drop…

An error occurred while saving the comment Nublu Pool and Spa Care commentedWhen you hover over the contact in a new Invoice (after you've chosen it), Xero needs to show the first line of Notes (under the phone number), so we know we need to look at Notes while we're data entering on that specific contact. That would be another great help. At the moment, I have to open the contact in full, to see if they even have notes and it's time consuming, as not all customers have notes.

Hi team, while we don't have plans for adding a field for supplier to Inventory items, right now you could run the Payable invoice Detail report to see the purchases of items, and which supplier(s) they've been bought from.
You can also Group/Summarise the report by Item Code or Contact, depending on which you want to see together.
An error occurred while saving the comment Nublu Pool and Spa Care commentedWe need a "Supplier" field for each ITEM, as some items purchased come from different suppliers. It's easier to see it at hand, then searching through past bills.

When creating a new invoice, then choosing a contact, if that contact doesn't have an address and we click on the "contact billing address box (top left)" then hit save - when we go into the record itself, it's not saving the address information in the correct fields (address goes into city, state go into post code etc) and then it's printing INCORRECTLY on the invoices! I've had to go into the contact record and change it all around, double checking this feature as it's not working correctly.
