Thanks for your contributions and voting on this idea, community. While we're seriously taking on board your feedback for how and why being able to hold selections across pages would be helpful when processing batch payments, we want to be open that this isn't a focus area for product at this time.
We'll continually reassess ideas where there's opportunity, so please keep adding your votes and interest, here. If there's any development planned we'll be certain to share this with you all.

When I first starting using Xero it seemed incredulous that what was ticked on previous pages didn't stay ticked .It is very time consuming as it requires figuring out a range of dates to try to fit all bills you are wanting to pay on the same page and sometimes you can't so you may need to do separate batches.
Thank you for fixing the planned date so bills ticked no longer become unticked... it was incredibly frustrating and has made a huge difference to time spent paying bills. Likewise fixing this issue will make a big difference.Shelley Sames supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Shelley Sames commentedThis is a very good idea - it is annoying to lose everthing that has been ticked when you move to a dfferent page.
Please also can the bills stay ticked when a planned date is added - it's time consuming and frustrating to have to retick each bill you had planned on paying .
An error occurred while saving the comment Shelley Sames commentedIt is incredibly frustrating and time consuming to have to re tick all the bills after entering the planned date ... this is a change for the worse and not the better. It really needs to be changed back asap!
I suspect way more than 53 people would want this to change ... I just think people don't necessarily know about this suggestion area (I have only found out) so the number of people voting for it shoudn't be seen as an indication of how important it is ... I would have voted prior to now had I known. -

Hi Shelley, is this something you've approached our Support team about ? It'd be good to have them dive deeper into this if not already to confirm behaviours.
If you have transactions entered in your org for the dates the report is being run this should be reflected in your report results.

There has been a change in the payable invoice reports and now the selected settings reset after opening a transaction from the payables report. I find it frustrating and time consuming. Please, please can it be reverted to how it was just a couple of weeks ago ... when you close a transaction it goes back to the selected settings.

Hi team, returning to the idea here I wanted to check if this is still an issue? With the Payable Invoice Details report you'll find you can 'Group by' Contact and there are options to include Balance, Gross Tax and Net columns within the report so you can get a full break down and totals for each.

An error occurred while saving the comment Shelley Sames commentedI find it so frustrating in xero not to be able to find the total of a payment made to a creditor on any given day or the total received from a debtor – you can only find out individual invoices or bills paid - be extremely helpful if you could search a contact , find the total amount paid each time a payment is made ( or received from a debtor) then open it to see the individual bills/invoices. Even changing the notation in the accounts transactions to show the debtors name rather than " payment mutiple items" ) would be helpful.
It should be a focus - it is important!
If you are not focusing on this hopefully you are focusing on another other issue for accounts payable i.e. being able to view a report showing payments made to suppliers (not just being able to see individual invoices and the dates they were paid) but being able to access statements which show the total amount paid to a particular supplier at any time and over any period of time.
