Appreciate your input here, everyone. This is a feature that our team have looked into and would like to develop for AU Payroll, however there are a few other key pieces of work lined up before they get a chance to explore this further.

The ability to nominate a %age allocation to a 2nd bank account in payroll for staff.
Some staff members work different hours each week ( especially students). So to nominate a specific $ amount to a 2nd account can be difficult. A %age is much easier when wages change each week.

We understand that the ability to easily remind employees to fill out timesheets would make things easier and save you time.
Our product team is currently investigating potential solutions for this but at this early stage there are no specific time frames available. We’ll be sure to let you know if there’s any change, though!Pina Micali

Appreciate the interest through the idea, but want to be open that we don't have any development planned for adding reminders or notification of an employees birth date atm.
I see there are some supporters from NZ and UK in the idea here and wanted to point you across to these specific ideas for each region that I'd encourage adding your support for - Each version of Xero Payroll has been developed specifically for the that regions tax and reporting obligations and this would need to be developed for each version separately. Thanks

Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate all the interest and detail of where and why you'd like to attach files to employees in payroll.
As many will be aware, the team have been making a lot of changes across Payroll to accompany local regulation & compliance such as STP phase2.
With much of this work still on-going, we want to be open that there are no plans at present for this development. It is top of mind for the team, and will be reconsidered when resource becomes more available however we wanted to share and set expectation for the near term with you all, here.

Come on Xero. You have the XeroMe app, so this should of been part of that release. This is an essential part of payroll these days.
