Is this something you've noted with our Support team, Simon? If not I'd recommend raising a case with them so they can dig a little deeper into why this amount is still appearing.

Hi community, we recognise it's been some time since our last update on this idea and apologise for the delay in coming back here.
After our last post, priorities for the team did pivot and work for showing current VAT liability was put on hold.
While not actively underway atm, we have intentions of surfacing an organisation's VAT liability total on the dashboard on our longer terms roadmap. While we'll move this idea to Accepted for now, as soon as there is movement we'll be back to update you again. Thanks

Hi Sharon, a few ideas rolled in the one here. While appreciate the detail it would not be possible for the teams to work on these widgets at once.
It would be good to get a view of the interest in each.
I've adjust the title of your idea here to reflect your first idea on reminders. We have another for the ability to show tax on the dashboard you may like to join & support, and welcome to start any others for particular widgets you'd like to see so we can begin to get a sense of the interest in each. 🙂

Totally understand how notifications of errors can improve efficiency and handling of returns in Xero Tax (AU). Thanks for all your input and sharing on this idea, everyone.
While we have a few pieces of work underway atm, this is something our team are looking to develop. We're going to move this to Under Review and as we have more info and progress we'll return to share this with you all, here. 🙂

I am not an AU user but am going to support this idea and suggest widening it in that in my opinion errors such as an overdue tax return are not sufficiently visible on the Dashboard screen - approaching deadlines need to be very prominent and overdue deadlines extremely prominent. I have managed to miss deadlines despite checking and interacting with Xero every day as the current error looks like nothing at all.

The current warnings of approaching and especially passed deadlines for tax filings, tax payments etc look to me to be very low key and as a consequence I have missed deadlines despite checking in every day. Such warnigns need to be more prominent as default on Dashboard. Larger organised users may not wish this for approaching deadlines so perhaps an option for the current "low key" warnings, but presumably everyone wants to know if they have missed a deadline.
