Can we add more functionality to the customer dashboard. For example we currently see "Cash In" for last 12 months but no total for last 12 months. Also what about a list of products or product groups that customer has brought over last 12 months (or customisable period).

The basis for this request is when a customer calls, you can very quickly see how important this customer is...

Hi everyone, we wanted to return and give you an update here. As mentioned in our last post - we want to be forth right that we don't have any plans to remove 'Powered by Xero' from emails sent from Xero, with intentional purpose and based on findings from interactions we can see having true benefit to customers in getting paid faster.

That said, we appreciate the feedback we've received and have made changes since this was initially raised to reduce the size of the footer where this is shown and have removed the hyperlink to xero.com. We will continue to develop the invoice email to continue to drive improvements for our customers and the ways you receive payments.

As I have previously raised, why should Xero users be forced to advertise what service we use...

I don't see Xero advertising that it uses Amazon servers and Facebook as part of its operations...

Hi Xero - clearly you guys will continue to push back on our requests to remove the 'Powered by Xero' gumph as we will all continue to push for it to be removed. Its not professional and provides no value.

Emails should come from our customer domain (as what is offered by Akshay Singn with xeroemail below). Obviously its easy - Xero just does not want to do what the customers want!!!

Xero does not allow Amazon and Facebook to put their mark all over Xero despite your infrastructure being reliant on their systems so nor should we, your customers, have to advertise Xero with our paid services.

    Fix it...

    Hi Xero people...
For those on this thread who have managed to keep the Xero logo out of their invoicing, this wont be forever...

Classic invoicing retires 1-Sep this year and we will all be pushed over to new invoicing and all the Xero marketing that goes with that. Brace yourselves...

Hi Xero people - please be honest with us. Plastering “Powered by Xero” all over our paid for email service is all and only about promoting the Xero brand and has sfa to do with trust generation. As has been said before, Xero does not allow their supporting infrastructure companies Amazon etc put their logos over the Xero website so why make us carry your advertising...

As everyone has said, make it optional...

Do you peeps realize that for every complaint here there's another 100-300 dissatisfied customers out there???

ha ha ha - this is like watching a slow moving train smash!!! Every day the resentment keeps on piling in and the 'wise people' of Xero keep believing they are 'on track' and have done the right thing... Xero needs to go back and read business 101...quality products, competitive pricing and exceptional service...

    RE Livia's comments below...

Translated as "allow our free & cheap looking product advertising or don't get product improvements that YOU are paying a subscription service for"

    That's just straight out blackmail!!!

    UNBELIEVABLE

update people...had a call from Xero this morning saying due to feedback you can now 'Opt out' of this feature.

So...if you don't get a call, bang loudly, set up a Case and request to Opt Out...

For Xero peeps and those still reading, I'm still staggered Xero are going to force on those not proactive enough or too busy to follow up...

No No NO!... Xero you are not listening. You are starting to act like the big end corporate companies who only listen to the mirror and not the outside world where the customers operate...

We do not pay a subscription service to advertise the Xero business just like Xero would not allow Amazon, Facebook or other Xero service providers that drive functionality within Xero to put their logos all over the Xero user website.

Make it optional and let us, the paying users, decide if the so called benefits of having the 'Xero legitimacy' translate into improved payments.

If the majority of people decide to "switch on" the Xero logo and link to Xero website in emails, then Xero is correct. If most people leave off, then there must be some other reason for forcing it onto us.

Of all ironies, as I type, I cannot use Xero as global access to invoicing is down...says it all really...

Xero - I cannot understate how much this ****** me off. As per the comments below, it is completely unacceptable that my business emails carry the Xero logo.

The response I have received so far ... "this logo is added to provide reassurance to customers that the transactions are legitimate" is not believeable as any spammer one above 3 years old can copy paste Logo and link.

    Please rectify immediately

    Dear Xero

Further to above comment, I have modified our email correspondence with a modified footer as per the attached and below.

FYI - any links to Xero in this email are not endorsed or supported by Hose Protection Australia. We CANNOT control Xero putting their logo on our emails and we suggest you consider other accounting programs if you dont like what they have done.

Is there a particular reason you'd specifically not want the user to login to Xero to view this information, Ben?

Currently as you may be aware, there's an option to include a link so that your customer can view outstanding invoices they have with you - See more here
