    We want to thank everyone for the attention this idea has drawn. It’s clear from the many votes and detailed comments that having the ability to pay supplier bills with BPAY from Xero is a high-value feature for our Australian customers.

    We understand the desire in this and see how this functionality would enhance your use of Xero, and it is definitely on our radar.

    As you may have heard, our product team's current focus is on developing our bill payment solutions like we’ve delivered in the UK to more regions, with sights currently set on AU.

    Your feedback here is valuable to the team as we explore what this experience will look like. Though we can’t commit to any timelines as yet, BPAY is a feature that we’ll be aiming to support through our new solution. We’ll keep you updated on further news and progress for this, through the…

    We have been using a third party (subscription) Xero app (Parakeet) for a few years now. It's not free, but worth it for our volume.

    Hi everyone, further to our last post I wanted to provide another update for our US customers as we now have a bill payments solution powered by Melio! Xero has acquired Melio, a leading US bill pay platform designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses, and accountants and bookkeepers in the US. While we value our partnership with BILL, we decided that acquiring Melio was the right strategic move to accelerate our ability to provide a seamless, integrated payments solution within Xero for our US customers. Powered by Melio, you can securely pay bills online, directly from Xero.

    As previously shared in the UK customers can now pay overseas suppliers easier with international bill payments, saving the need to use multiple platforms and savings in fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once.

    For those in Australia, we have been using a third party app Parakeet for BPAY and bank account supplier payments. Bypass the use of any ABA files or bpay files. For those interested, they are in the app store. https://apps.xero.com/au/app/parakeet
