    This has been an issue for years and I am shocked it has not been resolved yet! Literally every single other time/project management software from basic to advanced has this feature and it is absolutely vital for projects in service based industries.

    This is a vital capability to improve the projects system which is already lacking a tremendous amount of basic capabilities that we shouldn't have to request.
    Projects in its current format leads to businesses having to source and pay for external software and we have found often leads them wanting to opt for competitor accounting packages like sage or QBO.

    Hi community, we acknowledge the strong feelings in this idea and why you need a feature to flag bills directly within Xero. We really appreciate all your feedback and the detailed explanations of how this would help streamline your accounts payable.

    We are dedicated to providing a solution for this over the longer term, but this will take some time requiring changes that sit beneath the face of bills.

    In lieu of a direct feature for this we wanted to highlight some of the options discussed by the community here:

    • Add a note to the bill: A detailed note on the bill itself can serve as a clear internal reminder of the dispute.
    • Utilise tracking categories: Creating a specific tracking category like "Disputed Bills" can help you filter and report on these items.

    Hi community, we appreciate everyone's engagement here. To confirm we have intentions of developing the purchase order experience, however developing Projects into this does have some complexities and requires work across both purchase orders and projects to deliver.

    Right now our initial focus is releasing the new purchase order experience to all users.

    While we don't have a timeframe for assigning PO's to Projects at this stage, this is top of our product teams radar and we'll communicate here as soon as there's an update.

    It is crazy that such a huge platform is not listening to it's clients on what is a pretty simple function. If you wanted to, you could write a line of code tomorrow and it would be up and running and we'd all be delighted. We have all waited patiently for far too long.
