The most important one to be able to add a pdf to is the bank reconciliation. Once a bank rec has been done, attaching a copy of the pdf bank statement really helps the audit trail.

Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback on this here. Through testing we found that majority of our customers would Approve and email an invoice at once, which is why this was developed as the default in new invoicing. That said we appreciate others would like a different action as their primary option.

While we don't have direct plans for adding the ability to set a default for this action, we're listening to your feedback and looking into how we can improve efficiency and speed things up for you when using new invoicing through the use of keyboard shortcuts. We'll share more news when we've confirmed what this shortcut looks like and are closer to providing this to you all.

Hi team, as you may have noticed we've made a change to the Invoice Date and Due Date fields that now allows you to type in these fields rather than having to select a date from the calendar drop down. It does still require entering delimiters between day month and year such as a '.' or '/' (we understand there are a few situations when entering US date formats and are continuing to look into this).

We're working on also adding this functionality to the Payment date, and I'll keep you in the know of when this is made available, here.

It's completely absurd that you remove a perfectly functional way of entering a payment, that only requires keystokes with a method that now requires keystrokes, picking up a mouse, clicking little arrows (and missing), more keystrokes, more drop boxes. Making life so much harder for book-keepers. Every 'upgrade' seems to reduce ease of use and functionality.
Please discuss changes with the people who use Xero every day!!!!!

Hi community, first off thank you for the continued interest and feedback surrounding this idea. We’re continuing to build on the bank reconciliation experience in Xero and recognise the ways this feature will help improve the efficiency, flexibility and transparency of transactions in your business. Our team have done a lot of exploration into being able to surface and match Credit Notes when reconciling your bank account in Xero, and this is now in development.

We’ll shift the idea here into ‘Working on it’ and continue to update as there’s more detail of this to share.

Thanks for the example, Shellee! That's a good few departments 😮

There's no facility to create folders in the Reports Centre for this sort of categorisation atm.

We'll begin tracking support in this here.

Please can we have the ability to save custom reports into different folders? At the moment I have to sift through loads of different custom reports to find the ones I need. It is a waste of time when I could have similar ones in their own folder.
It is also really really untidy and disordered!!! Clearly a system invented by coders not by accountants!

I use a lot of reports each month and really need to be able to put similar reports into different folders. At the moment it takes hours sifting through them all to find the correct one to use.
Bit of a no brainer really?!

Some of our clients have a large number of invoices and credits as these come from automated booking systems.
it takes days to allocate them against each other, so please can we have a way to do these in bulk - maybe similar to the cash coding facility for bank recs?

This is a facility vital to accountants and book-keepers - maybe not so much for individual companies, so please take into account the needs of book-keepers rather than absolute numbers of people wanting this facility.
