Hi everyone, thanks for all of your engagement with this idea. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on being able to claim previous year's employment allowances in Xero.
We understand this would save time and provide a more complete payroll solution.
As noted by others in this thread, the current workaround is to process prior year claims using HMRC's Basic PAYE Tools.
We've reviewed our upcoming development roadmap, and at this time building the functionality to process prior year Employment Allowance claims is not in our immediate pipeline.
We will keep this idea under consideration for future development, and should our plans change, we will provide an update here.

Hi community, thank you for feeding back about how a paid-invoice notification could reduce manual checking and follow-ups, as well as help you move orders forward once payment is received.
Our teams have done some initial discovery and are looking more broadly at our notifications framework across Xero.
To be transparent here - a notification specifically for when an invoice is paid isn’t in our near term plans at this stage, but we’ll share an update if there’s meaningful progress as notifications continue to evolve.

This would be particularly helpful to the really small businesses that are both time and profit poor to give them that small leg up that this allowance is meant to give us. I didn't know it existed until I attended the Xero webinar (so thank you) but I'm kicking myself now for not knowing and that I could have saved hundreds of pounds. I do love Xero and this would have just pushed me way into the "10" in terms of a promoting Xero to others.
