Hi team, as we continue to develop Xero Payroll for our AU customers we're pleased to share this is an idea that our product team have picked up to delve into and better understand the needs and makeup of users that are highly impacted by the manual data entry of timesheets.
As part of their research they're looking to connect and hold interviews with a few customers, who can feedback on their new Timesheet data import prototypes.
If you'd be interested and willing to give your time to help with this discovery, please take a couple of minutes to fill your details in our form here. 📝
Our product team will be reaching out to interested participants over the next couple of weeks to arrange a suitable time to meet.

Hi everyone, we recognise that a more customisable payslip would provide greater clarity for your employees, better reflect your brand, and save you valuable time.
This isn’t in our immediate roadmap, however we get the benefit this would bring, and it’s on our radar for potential future development. Our product team will consider this idea as they do further roadmap planning.
We’ll update you here if we have any news to share. Thanks

The limitation of being able to set up pay templates to include day rates and different unit rates does not help the client.
Hi David,
Is there a timeline for introducing timesheet imports?
One of my clients uses Shop Timesheets for their zero-hours staff, and the timesheets can already be exported as a CSV file. Being able to import these directly would save a significant amount of time and help reduce errors from manually entering hours.
Kind regards
Caroline
