Thanks for your recent comments, and for continuing to support this idea, everyone. We appreciate the passion here, and I’m sorry it’s taken a while to return with another update.
Since our last post, we’ve made progress with passkey authentication through mobile access. Looking ahead, we also intend to explore desktop passkeys later this year.
When this work does get picked up, Yubikey passkeys will be considered, however we can’t confirm at this stage whether they’ll definitely be included. As soon as we have more concrete news to share, we’ll update you on this thread.

We already pay for Microsoft 365 for our organization. We do not want to pay more to duplicate functionality we already have. When XPM supports Sharepoint we will finally be able to retire MYOB Accountants Office for good.

Hi team, though we appreciate the use you'd find in being able to connect or send Xero Files to your cloud storage we want to be open that this isn't in our short terms plans.
We're keen to keep getting an understanding of interest in the capability, and will share if there are any updates or progress of this, here.

We need ability to access Sharepoint or OneDrive at a minimum. Access to OwnCloud or Nextcloud instances would be even better.

Support for hardware security keys like Yubikey would significantly enhance security of Xero. Because we are storing sensitive financial data, we need to have strong control over access that security keys provide.
