Hi community, as mentioned in my last post we want to keep you looped in on changes around autosave.
Our product team has continued to focus attention on how we can make invoicing faster and more responsive to improve our customers' experience.
We've recently optimised autosave to require less processing power, leading to faster invoice loading and saving.
Our decision remains that we won’t be adding an option to turn off autosave on invoices. However, we hope this change improves your experience with autosave in draft invoices over time. Thanks again for your feedback.

This would be a very easy feature to introduce @Xero.
Downloading multiple payslips for multiple employees all with a standard name of "payslip" is very frustrating
File Name:
Payslip_John-Doe_WeekEnding_20-02-24
The above format would group all the Employees together and then order by date in the users documents folder also.
I have attacjed what it looks like now!

The autosave function causes way more problems that it saves.
It auto saves even after a name is put in. Or one line item.
I could see how very large businesses with complex invoices might need it.
But an invoices takes 2 minutes to make. So why does it need to auto save it?
Add a feature to turn it off. Ive just got heaps of blank invoices in my system now
