    Hi team, thanks for explaining the importance of this idea to your business workflows.

    Right now, we’re developing a quote deposit flow where you'll be able to set one deposit as a fixed amount or percentage. 😊

    Once available and your quote is accepted, Xero will automatically create and send the deposit invoice, with the remaining balance due later. This is intended to make the deposit and balance easier to track in Xero, without manually raising the first invoice.

    It's actively being worked on and already with a small limited group of users. We’ll share updates when the rollout progresses, in the new year.
