Thank you. It would be amazing if we didn't have keep using MYOB. But Xero may push us back that way.

Hi Tania, thanks for sharing this idea. We appreciate you explaining how early submission of activity statements could streamline your workflow, especially for clients with zero balances. As you know, at the moment, Xero only supports lodging activity statements for the periods as they’re issued by the ATO, and we process statements in order to align with those obligations. This approach follows ATO-provided due dates and period availability, which are fixed by the ATO and surfaced in Xero to help you stay compliant. This idea has been moved to not in Pipeline as this is not something we are looking at currently. The Idea will be open for votes though and we will keep monitoring it. This is what I'm chasing urgently as well.
Currently still using MYOB to do some of this for us, as the report I get shows me outstanding AS / BAS due. Including new clients that we may not have been aware needing to now complete the forms.

Hi everyone, we'd like to share an update on this idea with you all - As announced at Xerocon there are exciting changes coming for practices with Xero Partner Hub!
With the Xero Partner Hub you'll have a unified client and staff experience. We'll be providing some additional Client detail fields including Date of Death for Individual / Sole Trader business structures.
This'll be rolling out to all Xero partners in early 2026, with the beta being available from November, starting in Australia and New Zealand - Find out more on our website

Thank you for adding this to the community. It would be good if Xero could be our one stop shop, but at this stage we still have to use MYOB.
