Hey team, 👋 "Can I take this holiday?" - Now, we know this is one of the most common questions employees ask, and it's one we'd like to be able to help you solve with Xero Payroll.
We'd love your help in shaping the future of Leave projections in Xero - As a start, please share any detail about;
- What information you normally need for calculating future leave balances currently?
- What would you need to see or understand to trust that the projected balance is accurate?

Hi everyone, we appreciate your feedback on the show/hide fields option. As you may have seen in other updates we're working on a new line item grid that will encompass a few enhancements we know our customers want to see, and will also include an improvement to the behaviour of the show/hide fields so the options you select will be retained. I'll come back to confirm when this is released.

Xero Australia new invoicing currently lets you select the fields visible (show/hide fields) when preparing an invoice. However, it doesn't save the selection preference.
For example... deselecting the 'Project' field when preparing an invoice (it is default 'on'), does not mean that each time you go to an invoice, the field is deselected - it returns to default so you have to deselect the field every time. Important, as with the other chosen fields, you need to scroll across the screen to see all the fields. By removing one, you can can see all fields.
It would be good to have the field preference saved by user so each time you use that template, the fields you want to have visible are retained from the last use rather than reverting to default.
