Hi everyone, we understand how frustrating it is when important emails like invoices are filtered or blocked, and how this affects customer trust and timeliness of engagement with your transactional communications. Thank you for continuing to share examples and highlighting the impact this has on your business.
We’ve made meaningful progress towards enabling email sending from your own domain. While progress is taking longer than we’d like, we can confirm that substantial backend work is underway. This work spans multiple interdependent teams across Xero, and there are still important steps we need to work through before we can release the capability to customers reliably.
As we continue to develop this capability, there are a few questions that would help our product teams ensure we’re solving the majority of our users’ needs in this space, with a reliable and secure solution.

@Perry_Paolantonio I don’t understand how this is spam? We are providing an easy and affordable solution to a problem that many Xero users are struggling with. Our servers are hosted on Azure in Australia, fully compliant with Australian data privacy regulations.

Hi community, thanks for continuing to share your feedback on this idea.
We appreciate wanting to hear more on where this is at and we'd like to update that we're just beginning to explore the future of Statements within Xero.
We understand the need for more control over what’s included in statements, particularly when invoice links or related actions don’t reflect the way your business work, or cause confusion for the customers receiving them.
This is something our team will be taking into careful consideration as that work develops.
We’ll keep you updated here as discovery progresses.

Hi community, we value your engagement in product ideas here. As you may have seen we've recently rolled out a new send experience in new invoicing.
With this new side-by-side view you'll find you can also CC and BCC other emails 🎉
While this feature is contained to new invoicing atm, we'll look at applying a similar experience to other areas of Xero that you can send from in the future, so we'll keep you updated of any further developments for this here. Thanks!

Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.
Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.
While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.
Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.

@tim_sneller @perry_paolantonio I sincerely apologize if it came across that way, but I haven’t seen any rule prohibiting the sharing of solutions—whether paid or free—to common problems. I shared the video simply to demonstrate how our solution works, and any Xero developer watching it would understand the process and potentially make it accessible to more users.
Regarding pricing, I believe there might be some misunderstanding. After discussions with over 20 companies, we finalized a pricing model starting at just $15/month. This covers the high API costs of Xero, the incoming email server, our app, its hosting, ongoing maintenance, and regular updates.
Also, I find it a bit unfair to be labeled as spamming when @Perry_Paolantonio are openly discussing alternative solutions like Zoho Books on November 8, 2024 11:29 PM. If sharing how we solve a real problem is considered spam, then shouldn’t recommending a competing product also fall under the same category? My intention is simply to help users facing this challenge.
