Thanks for the added detail, everyone. It's good to be able to share this detail back with our teams.
Appreciate why Bank Rules won't help for cash accounts and where you don't have a bank feed coming into the account.
Being open, this isn't something we have plans for changing in the short-term. We'll leave the idea open for our product team to continue considering how we could improve efficiency in some of the situations you've described. If there are any updates we'll share this with you all here.

Need an UNDO button asap. This really should be a basic feature.

Hi community, thanks for your responses to our update and the continued interest this idea receives. We're keeping a watchful eye on the support this idea gathers.
As mentioned in my last update our immediate focus for now is delivering more automation and intelligent tools to help you reconcile faster.
However, we understand and appreciate the pain points shared through this idea and will move the status of this to Accepted as our product team look into more details around this and how we might plan this into the roadmap.
I'll keep you updated of any developments in this space.

While Xero works on failed AI features like Jax and auto reconcile which no one asked for... basic features like this are missing and causing suffering. Importing exporting bank rules for bulk update is specially useful when clients go from BAS excluded to GST registered status (or vice versa). Or when making bulk corrections/fixes. It's sad that after 4 years no progress has been made.

Yes this limits the history and notes report so much. There should be a way to audit all transactions without any artifical limits.
