    Hi everyone, we know this remains a highly important request, and we appreciate the volume of detail you’ve shared around billing, delivery and contact management workflows in this idea.

    As shared in our last update - our team has been progressing the next phase of work needed to bring this more meaningfully into invoicing.

    We know many of you are looking for clearer timing, and while I’m not able to confirm a release date at this stage, I do want to reassure you this remains an active area of work for our product teams.

    We’ll continue to return here with further updates as we move through the next stages. Thanks again for your patience and for continuing to share the workflows that make this so important.

    Hi everyone, thanks for all your support and sharing how useful budgeting for Balance sheet accounts would be for your business.

    We've launched new Analytics Budgets which is in early access and can be accessed from the Reports centre.

    Though not in the first cut, balance sheet budgeting is planned, with intentions for you to be able to set a balance sheet budget and compare it with actuals in reports. We'll update you again as this work progresses to share more details.

    Balance sheet is where cash is! How can you not have a business plan without budgeting for cash. Inventory, accounts receivable, debt....businesses have to budget for these line items. Only having capability for income and expenses, is a very simplistic cash basis cash flow model. Xero needs to add this feature. Would love to do all financials inside Xero, not Actual vs Budget Balance Sheet externally.
