Hi everyone thank you for your feedback on superannuation processing times. With the Payday Super changes and the 7-day requirement, we know speed is top of mind.
Currently, most super payments processed through Xero are transferred to fund providers on the 5th business day. You can read more about expected timeframes and legislation updates in our Payday Super FAQs.
We completely understand the demand for faster turnarounds. The entire industry is looking towards faster processing.
To help us gauge the impact on your business, we are moving this request to Gaining Support status. Please vote, comment, and share your experiences below so we can better understand your workflows and concerns.

Hi there. With Payday Super changes coming soon, we know many of you will be thinking about how the new super payment timing will work for your business. It’s something we’re keeping a close eye on too.
While this particular idea isn’t currently on our product team’s roadmap, it’s on our radar and we’re actively monitoring the feedback here.
There are also a couple of related ideas focused on super payment timing that are already in development:

Hi everyone, thanks for your continued feedback about managing working patterns for part-time employees.
We’re pleased to share that we plan to begin rolling out working patterns in AU Payroll later this year.
The first release will allow you to set a one-week work pattern for each employee. This pattern will automatically be used for leave and public holiday calculations in the pay run. At this stage, you’ll still need to update the employee’s pay template separately to reflect their standard working hours.
We plan to build on this foundation by connecting working patterns with standard hours in the pay run and supporting a broader range of working patterns. We’ll share more details as the first release gets closer.

I support this change.
Xero's current super clearing house Super Choice is owned by multinational interests and their business strategy appears to be to hold funds for up to 5 days so as to make money on the interest.
The intent of pay day super was not for multinationals to make money off the super contributions of the average aussie worker.
By providing choice this would break the nexus. A lot of super clearing houses transfer the money the next day.
