Appreciate you sharing this feedback, Harry. We understand the request to filter auto-reconciled transactions during review. Having this visibility could help make reconciliation checks quicker and more focused.
We’ve updated the status to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking interest.

Great to get your feedback here and understand while automating the reconciliation is useful, there are still other processes that you'd usually run that you need visibility of this for (like sending receipts).
Right now, we're getting a gauge of the wider interest for this here and I'll be sure to share if there are any updates.

Hi Emma, thanks for highlighting this opportunity for improvement.
We can see how clearer visual indicators for different reconciliation suggestions could make it easier to work through large volumes of bank transactions. Being able to quickly distinguish between match types could help users review and action suggestions more efficiently.
We'll continue to track the votes and feedbacks here to gauge the community's interest.

Hi team, we appreciate your feedback and have been taking this on board as the team closely consider improvements to our auto reconcile experience.
Currently, we are working on a new settings panel that'll provide more control of what you would like auto reconciliation to be driven by.
I will share another update as this comes to life and keep you updated of it's release here. 🙂

Thanks for feeding back on your auto reconcile experience with us here and letting us know the changes that'd help you make the most use of this feature.
Right now, our teams are looking into improvements including a settings panel that enable more control of what drives bank auto reconciliations in your org. I'll be back to share more when this is released 🙂

Thanks for everyone's feedback on your experience with auto bank rec, here. The aim of this feature is to improve and build more efficiency in your reconciling your bank account, however we understand and appreciate feedback here on where users would prefer to more control and options, as well as the option to dismiss the banner.
Right now, as some in the thread have noted auto reconcile can be turned off for each of your bank accounts at any time. From the main Bank Reconciliation screen, click on the ‘Auto-reconcile’ settings button to manage your settings.
We're currently looking into more controls and settings for auto reconcile that may better suit needs shared in this thread, I'll round back to share more on this as it develops.

Hi community, thanks for your input for the idea here. While we're in the process of releasing an update for applying payments to an invoice we want to be upfront here that this does not involve being able to attach a file when making a payment, from the invoice.
Once a payment is applied, you can click within the banner to 'View invoice' then on the payment link within the invoice where you can attach a file directly within the payment transaction.
We will continue to keep a track and share if there are any plans made around this idea, here.

Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to raise your needs in proforma invoicing with us here.
Atm, deposits can only be taken against approved invoices(powered by Stripe), and taking payment against quotes or draft invoices isn’t supported at this point.
We understand that pre-invoice and proforma-style workflows matter for some businesses, especially where payment needs to be secured before the final invoice is raised.
Earlier-stage deposit workflows is something we’re considering for the direction in this space, and we’ll share more here if that progresses further.

Really good to have the understanding of use cases in which you'd want to search invoices by the contact account number rather than contact name. Thanks everyone, we are continuing to develop our invoicing experience, however I want to be upfront that this isn't something we have plans for right now.
We are continuing to get a sense of the interest through this idea, so if there are any updates to share I'll let you know here.

Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to engage and share interest for this idea. We appreciate how setting defaults can improve the efficiency of your processes.
Being open this isn't something we have direct plans of implementing in the near term but have a close eye on the idea and will share if there is any news.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and adding your vote to this idea! We totally get how important it is to keep your customer contact info accurate and up to date. An automatic update feature through invoicing sounds like a great way to save you some valuable time.
Right now, if you send an invoice to an email that’s not already linked to a contact, you’ll need to add that email manually in Xero. The current setup is designed to be flexible so you can send invoices to multiple emails without changing the contact record. But we can definitely see how this feature would speed things up for you.
This idea is now in the “Gaining Support” phase, which means it’s open for votes and comments. We’re keeping an eye on how much interest it gets from the community. Your vote really helps us understand how much this feature matters to…

Hi community, appreciate your feedback. Currently our team are working on some improvements to the To field in new invoicing and the contacts card that appears when selecting a contact. We understand some of our customers make use of the keyboard much more than the mouse and in reviewing the flow when using Tab the team will be making a change to make selection of a contact and movement to the date field smoother. I'll come back to confirm the detail of the change when this is released.

Thanks for sharing this idea and explaining how the current wording can make an optional donation feel like a commercial invoice for your supporters.
We’ve updated our branding and invoice templates so you can customise the title shown on transaction documents. However, this customisation doesn’t currently extend to every customer-facing touchpoint, such as the online payment portal or the labels on automated email buttons.
We understand that you’re requesting a broader level of customisation, including the ability to replace terms such as “Invoice” with wording like “Donation Request” across these experiences. As this isn’t currently supported, we’re moving your idea to Gaining Support so other customers can vote for it and help us understand the demand for this enhancement.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the engagement so far. We understand why having a custom email template for deposit could be useful.
The idea is to allow users to create or assign a separate email template for deposit invoices, so messaging and payment terms can be tailored to suit businesses.
We'll continue to track the demand for this idea here.

⭐ Thanks so much for taking the time to share this idea in so much detail. The examples and use cases you’ve included do a great job of showing why more flexible repeating invoice schedules would make a real difference for businesses managing recurring and occasional charges.
This is an area that is continuing to gain support. The need for more flexibility, less manual admin, and better support for real-world billing arrangements is something we know matters to customers, and feedback like this helps reinforce that.
While I can’t make any specific promises on timing or delivery here, please know this idea is valuable and the level of detail you’ve provided genuinely helps inform those conversations. Thanks again for sharing it and helping highlight an important pain point.
