Invoice - Ability to use deposits without Stripe
Request deposit without a stripe account.
The new feature is only available with stripe account which take a fee. This is expensive for Invoices of high value, can we just have this feature without the stripe requirements please.
Thanks for your feedback, Michelle. At this initial stage as we roll out deposits as you're aware this will only be available with Stripe. However, we understand there are differing user flows and would like to better gauge interest in the idea here.
We'll share if there are any updates.

I use this. I have Stripe as a payment option but in the footer of EVERY invoice I have my bank details for payment (or how to find the account using PayID), with an instruction to include the invoice number as the reference. Stripe is a payment option only - and is set up to pass on fees to the client IF they choose to pay that way - the fees are added to the invoice total only if they open the Stripe interface to make payment.
It's really simple and means I currently use the "request deposit" feature, and for those larger invoices, the client simply ignores the "pay via Stripe" option and pays the deposit via EFT and sends me remittance advice (hopefully). I then manually match the transaction to the invoice on the bank reconciliation screen - i.e. find the transaction to match it against and use the "split" button to apply a part payment.

We really want to request Deposits without stripe fees, this is critical until then we won't be using that feature. No one wants to pay these extra fees.

Agree as well with this for large invoices this does not work, as the client doesn't want to pay a $100 payment for stripe fee.

Enable payment plans to be an option for sales invoices, without enabling Stripe or Klarna.
Invoices to include and state multiple due dates under the payment terms.

Agree. I have clients who would use this feature without the obligation of having to use Stripe and pay the fee.
