Thanks for your feedback, Michelle. At this initial stage as we roll out deposits as you're aware this will only be available with Stripe. However, we understand there are differing user flows and would like to better gauge interest in the idea here.
We'll share if there are any updates.

Deposits should be part of the sales role - it's people who raise the invoices that need this functionality.

This is critical for our business as we take part payments in advance of production, then final payment at a later date (which changes based on production timeframes). Very frustrating at the moment as we have locked our year end accounts (March) and still have many outstanding invoices from the last financial year.

We use the deposit feature all the time, but with the changes to credit card fee rules in Australia (not being able to on-charge the fees to customers).. we are considering removing credit card as a payment option.. but still want to be able to request a deposit.
