Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion. We understand you’re looking for a way to view original bank statement details directly within the Account Transactions report to make auditing and reconciliation easier.
Having bank particulars visible alongside ledger data could help you quickly verify entries without needing to switch between reports or screens.
We’ll continue to collect feedback and interest from the community.

I would imagine many Xero files have at some time had a person going click happy with the OK button on the dashboard and reconciling to the incorrect entry.
By simply adding a column to choose Bank Statement Particulars in the Account Transactions report we could visually see easily if lines were reconciled to the wrong entry. This is not creating a new report but simply adding access to another column.

Hi David, it's possible to run the Account Transactions report showing a 'Related account' column to see where transactions have been reconciled to. Would this suit what you're asking here?

It would be good to add attachments to published reports. EG if you publish the bank reconciliation report you could add a copy of the actual bank statement as evidence that your report is justified. This would be helpful for those reviewing the reports to have the attached copy.
