This is critical for us. Otherwise, the remittance advice becomes less useful for the receiver, especially in cases of batch payments or partial payments where the payment reference is essential for identifying and allocating the payment correctly.
I strongly support this request.
From a practice management perspective, the lack of an audit trail is a significant issue. In particular, there is currently no clear way to establish who cancelled a job, when it was cancelled, or what the job status was before the change.
This becomes particularly important when XPM is used to monitor staff workloads, deadlines and performance. If a job is cancelled, reassigned or its due date is changed, there needs to be a reliable record showing who made the change and when. Without this, it can be very difficult to establish what actually happened when reviewing a missed deadline or an incomplete job.
A proper Job History would ideally record all significant actions, including job creation, cancellation, reopening, reassignment, changes to due dates, changes to job state and changes to the assigned staff member, together with the user and date/time of each action.
XPM is being used as a central practice management system, so having this level of auditability should be a fundamental part of the platform.
Please consider this a strong vote from our practice for this functionality.
