I completely agree. Having a built-in calculator wherever figures need to be adjusted would save a lot of time and reduce mistakes. I'm a big fan of simple, purpose-built calculators like this NHS Pension Calculator: https://nhspaycalculatorss.co.uk/nhs-pension-calculator/ because you can enter a few details and get an estimate instantly instead of doing manual calculations. A similar approach for sale price and markup calculations in Xero would make inventory management much more efficient.

A built-in calculator would be a fantastic addition, especially if it could be opened with a keyboard shortcut. A good example is how dedicated calculator websites keep the process quick and simple. For instance, the NHS Pay Calculators SS site (https://nhspaycalculatorss.co.uk/) offers focused calculators where you enter a few details and get instant results. Bringing a similar experience into Xero Tax would save time, reduce manual calculations, and make the workflow much smoother.
I agree this would be a really useful feature. Built-in calculators save users from switching between different tools and make planning much easier. The same idea works well in other areas too—for example, an NHS Maternity Pay Calculator (https://nhspaycalculatorss.co.uk/nhs-maternity-pay-calculator/) lets users quickly estimate their maternity pay by entering a few details instead of calculating it manually. A similar estimation tool for fixed asset depreciation in Xero would be a real time-saver for budgeting and forecasting.
