Thanks for adding your support and feeding back on your needs in this idea, everyone.
While we understand how multiple sections with separate subtotals could make it easier to present options clearly and avoid sending several quotes to the same customer, we want to be upfront that this is not something we have development plans for in the near term.
Right now, a couple of options to add structure would be to use description-only lines as section headings within a quote. Alternatively, attaching separate documentation that accompanies your quote and depicts the breakdown.
We understand this isn't the ideal solution you're after here but may help some present quote details more clearly.
Another option is to explore our ecosystem apps to see if there's a service that can accommodate your full quoting needs.

Appreciate your time to suggest this, Greg.
Being able to show estimated Stripe processing fees on a quote could give customers greater visibility of the potential payment cost before deciding on their payment method.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on this. We understand why it would be helpful to have complete confidence that all details carry over when copying an invoice to a draft quote. At this stage, we’re going to move this idea to Gaining support so we can continue tracking interest and better understand how many customers this impacts and the specific details they expect to be copied across. Thanks for highlighting this improvement, Jonathan.
Keeping spaces and hyphens in quote PDF filenames could make downloaded files easier to identify and manage, particularly when saving or sharing multiple quotes.

Hi Anthony, it's currently possible to set a discount % for Sales transactions within a contacts record. This default will be applied to both invoices and quotes you raise for that Contact - Does this suit your needs here?
I notice you also mention being able to set a discount for the total of the invoice - we have a separate idea that you may like to vote for across here.

Appreciate you sharing your idea in the forums here, Ellie. Understand it's not a bulk assign feature like you're asking here, however you may find setting defaults for Contacts useful in your flows here.
You can set defaults for tracking for purchase and sales transactions within a contacts record that'l automatically be applied to lines of your quote when that contact is selected.
For now we'll get a sense of interest from the wider community in being able to assign tracking to your quotes in bulk from the idea here, and I'll share if there are any plans made.

While there is no development plans yet, we will open this idea up for other users who may find this feature useful so that product team has more visibility. Thanks for sharing this idea. We can understand how allowing customers to accept selected line items within a quote could make it easier to manage proposals that include optional services or products, without needing to create and send revised quotes.

While this feature is not possible at the moment, you are able to use an advanced invoice template to show the quote name as Estimate. You can then switch between either one of the branding themes for when you want it to show as an estimate.

Hi Paul, thanks for sharing this idea. We understand the benefit of having a native voice-to-text AI assistant to help write invoice descriptions especially for users working on the go or across multiple client sites.
The idea is to allow users to dictate invoice line item descriptions using voice input, with text being automatically captured and inserted into the invoice fields to speed up billing and reduce manual typing.
We encourage the community to vote on this idea if you’d find this invoicing workflow improvement useful.

In Classic Invoicing, there was a history and notes link between the quote and the invoice when the invoice was copied from the quote.
At the moment, that same history link isn’t available for quotes copied to invoices in the newer experience. We understand how helpful that audit trail is, especially when you need a clear record between the two transactions, so this is being moved to gaining support for the quote to invoice history workflow.
However, we are happy to say that this is still available in bills copied over from purchase orders , the link is still available above the history section
