Organisation setting - Ability to hide/delete the demo company

Option to hide or delete the demo company in Xero.

Purpose: Often a demo company creates confusion for users, so it’s better if they can hide/delete it.

Hi everyone, the demo company provides the ability to test and trial Xero features without impacting data in your live organisation. It's especially useful when you're getting started with the product or want to see how a feature works that you haven't used before.

That said, we understand not all our customers want or need access to the demo company. We appreciate your feedback on being able to hide or remove this here, and our product team are aware of the interest and feedback surrounding this - Both from this direct thread and the previous commentary and votes from the older forum where this originated.

While we don't have immediate plans, this is an area our team are looking to review. We will update you if there is any planned changes to this, through this idea.

    This is a frustrating distraction, especially if you are switching between multiple companies / trusts etc.

    Please Xero allow us to delete the Demo Company. There's no need for it and it's cluttering up the system.

    Ive got several companies in xero and the demo is not required anymore in the list. We should be able to turn this off in the menu please

    This had a lot of traction on the previous forum and seems that it’s starting from scratch with this new platform. They should have transferred all of the previous comments from people and votes.

    How can we get this upvoted? Please share on all Xero platforms. I see so many people complaining about this but we are not getting the votes to be noticed by Xero support. Lets get sharing!

    This was a hot topic on Xero Community and do not see all of the comments from there. Either way, it still boggles my mind why this has not yet been implemented. As if we are asking to reprogram the entire site. This is probably the singular most easiest implementation of all requests on this forum.

    It is crazy that we can't delete this company from the drop down list. It hides other companies that we actually want to see. Let us get rid of it please....
