Advanced Inventory - Tracking raw material inventory for manufacturing
Ability to track raw material inventory for manufacturing.
Purpose: To make it easier for users to find out the amount that their business is using to convert raw material into sold products.

Our business regularly relies on a finished product to be sold under different children accounts to make it easier on the end to make sure consumer gets the correct version of the finish product. The product is changed in the backend to fit the needs of the customer rather than relying on customer to change themselves (reduces returned products because customer cannot DIY). It isn't a big issue but currently we have to sell the product under the children SKU and then manually move stock around to push from parent to child which is time consuming and ends up with delays in reconciling accounts.

Our sales rely on the ability to assemble a finished product from between 15 to 60 different smaller parts. Unleashed system does this, but has become too expensive on a monthly basis. We would like to use Xero for all our needs.

This feature is critical for our business. We have struggled to find a software solution that fits our small bespoke manufacturing business. Being able to track raw materials, both SOH and average landed cost is vital!

I would move over to xero if this was available, the cost is far too high with the 3rd party app's and we can’t go without it. Whenever we want to sell a package of goods we put together to sell online we need this

If I know that your system is not capable of keeping inventories, not able to do prepayment, not able to pay and closed invoices at my command, I wouldn’t even waste my time looking at it.
Your company is not straight forward with the service that offers and have a very poor description and limited to do nothing better.
You guys should be in a different business, not accounting, booking or anything that involves the same. -

As a small business that orders components to then build into a completed unit to sell, this is so badly needed. Our customers want a single invoice item not 15 separate components on their invoices. It is definitely a big plus that QB has over Xero.

Essesntial to have a work in progress aspect in the platform of Xero. Quick books can do it and they are using it as a stick against Xero.

Critical aspect of our inventory management to be able to assemble inventory component items into the final inventory finished product. Hope we will see this ability sooner rather than later in Xero.
