Transferring from one Xero company to a new Xero company with ongoing projects.

I would not purchase the additional projects component without this being possible as it just adds unnecessary work load

We need to be able to import Project from our other system into Xero. Our projects are typically a couple of days each and to have to Manually enter each one is just extra work. It should be a simple task of having some import feature from a CSV I cannot understand why it has not been implemeted.

How is this not active yet?

This is the single reason we are aren't migrating to xero. We really liked the software, but the volume of transactions we deal with means we bulk import them in and to then manually go in to each line and have to manually import them does not work for us and would cost us to much time in comparison to our other system.

Its very vital to have a field for "Project Name" in all forms of transaction import templates (such as billing/Sales etc.) in order to assign any transaction to a particular project when imported rather than assigning one by one manually after importing.

This will be very beneficial for the users of Xero project to be link the bills or invoices to a specific project when import in bulk, which will save lost of time and also ensure each bill or invoice is linked to a project where most bills or income has to be linked to a project, certainly this will attract more users to use Xero project, because current Xero project is good only for companies who has got very small number of transactions to do everything manually.
