Sales Invoice - Add Primary person and email when adding new contact
When generating a sales invoice for new contact to have the ability to add the primary contact name and email so that email can be emailed to primary contact name without editing the contact first.
Hi community, sorry we've not looped into this idea sooner. You'll now find with new invoicing that you can add a new contact and their details, or edit a contacts details without having to leave the page.
When you add a new contact, this'll open the modal for the Contact card and from here you can add the Contact name, Email, Billing and Delivery addresses, and or phone number.

Agree!!
When I am in the invoices screen, and I need to add a new contact, it opens a window that allows us to add a new contact. However, it doesn't offer the "Business Contact name" as well as the "Primary person." I have to click to go back and edit that entire contact from the Contacts screen, when I should be able to just do that right there in the invoices screen while I'm adding everything else. I added a screenshot. So in that window, the "Primary person" should be an option to fill in on this screen.

Yes for the Primary Contact Person - First & Last name inputs.
The email option is already there, but this would save time having to further edit the contact separately, as the email algorithms don't recognise a contact name if these fields are blank -

Yes yes yes yes yes. I have raise dthis issue with Xero also, I cannot believe that the primary contact fields aren't available. It makes the invoicing so much more complicated having to create a contact first, then going in separately and creating an invoice. Quickbooks didn't have this issue, once again I found Quickbooks so much more user friendly than Xero.

The new invoicing style allows you to add a new contact and input their details when creating the invoice. However, it doesn't allow you to put a first and last name which is ideal when you have used name placeholders in your accompanying e-mail.
I would like to see the option for the boxes for the first and last name, like you would see if adding a contact in Xero.
