Banking | Account transactions - Show attached files
Whilst reconciling bank transactions it is often useful to look at the account transactions tab. When doing so it would be really nice to see the files link as an entry so you can easily see the transactions associated with a bank transaction
Hi everyone, I wanted to share that the file icon will show against all Account Transactions that have been created with an attachment 📂. Clicking on this icon will allow you to quickly preview the attachments. Invoice/Bill payment transactions will show the file icon when files have been attached to the payment transaction. As this is an Account Transactions list only, to see if the individual invoices/bills have attachments, you can head to the invoice/bills lists.
A separate idea has been raised for the Account Transactions Report to Show Files icon & number attached which you can add your vote to if that’s something else you’d like to see.

Please add this feature to account transaction reports, as per other comments it really is a pain and so time consuming to check for transactions without receipts/documents attached

In a bank account, under account transactions, I would like to be able to quickly see all transactions that don't have a document attached so that I can make sure that I've uploaded copies of invoices for all transactions.
At the moment the search feature doesn't support this, so it is quite a pain as you have to look at every transaction line manually.
You would also want all transactions that were reconciled via bill payments to be excluded from the search if they have attached documents.

When i am reconciling my transactions, it is really the last chance to check that i have attached all the invoices to the transaction.
It would be very handy to be able to click on the attachment icon (Paper with folded corner and number next to it) and check that the relevant documents are attached, before you click ok to reconcile the particular transaction.
At the moment i find myself clicking the find and match button to go in and check i have attached the document, and then you have to go down the list of possible matches to find the one you want. If i remember correctly, it wants to open that transaction in another tab, and go through a couple of other steps, as opposed to seeing there is a document attached, just by looking at the attachment icon, and open it up if you are concerned.

I agree, I can't believe this isn't happening already. It seems so simple.
