Organisation Settings - Copy an existing company to create a new one in Xero
It could be helpful to have the functionality to be able to copy and existing company in Xero in order to create a new one with the same details. This would make setup of the new one much faster particularly when companies have multiple entities that do the same thing just in different states / Emirates / countries even. You can pretty much copy anything else within Xero so it would be beneficial to be able to just clone the company itself.

Omg. How is this not a feature? I have to do this every time I setup a new company/client. Shocking.

This would be very helpful. Unfortunately, when I try to copy a card file from one entity to the other, Xero has a meltdown and it doesn't work. Sometimes, one company file will revert to match the other so you don't know which file you are working in. This needs to be fixed.

No the profile has not been hacked - we would just like to monitor the profile of a company that is being sold. Part of a handover phase

Possibly create a live copy of a client in order to seperately monitor in instances when a clients profile has been taken over by someone else

The ability to copy/clone any organisation in Xero would be great!

We need to have the ability to clone organisations that include reports already set up for the many client groups we deal with.
These groups have the same COA and report requirements. -

Need to have the ability to copy any customised report from any Xero ledger and not just from a Master Report list. This is from an accountants perspective where we have written a particular report in say a ledger client and then later on realise it would be good to make that report a master or copy it to another client without having to write the report again.
