Hi Esteon, you're right that it's not currently possible to Filter by the Related account column atm. It'd be good to understand what you;re trying to look at when running this report atm.
Rather than filter by related account, could you select the Account that you'd be looking to filter by and then click the Related account header to order the transactions by the account they came from?

Thanks for all your discussion and support on this idea.
Looking ahead, we want to be upfront about our plans. We're currently focusing our development efforts on other areas within payroll, so building dedicated approval workflows isn't on the roadmap at this time.
It's a good opportunity to share a tip for managing leave approvals that many of you have found helpful - As noted by others, you can streamline the approval process by guiding your employees to select their direct manager from the list. While all payroll admins and leave approvers are listed, this step ensures the request goes to the right person every time and helps you maintain clear oversight.
We understand this isn't the news you're hoping here, and your feedback is incredibly valuable for future planning. We'll update you if this gets picked up in the future.

Hi community, thanks for all your discussion and votes on this idea. We can see the appetite in being able to project future leave balances in AU Payroll. We understand that you're looking for an easier way to see an employee's accrued leave for a future date, which would make planning for things like company shutdowns and approving leave requests simpler.
Our product team has taken a look at this suggestion, however building this functionality isn't on our foreseeable roadmap. For that reason, we'll be changing the status of this idea to ‘Not in Pipeline’. The idea will remain open for votes, so we can continue to gauge interest when we next review our priorities for payroll.
As some have shared - exporting and combining reports outside of Xero is one way to get the information you need, although we understand its not the solution you'd like here.
We really…

Thanks for your feedback and interest in the idea here. We appreciate the desire for being able to enable employees to make these changes themselves.
While this is something the team will continually review as they keep developing Payroll for Australia, we want to be open that this is not in the direct plans atm.
If there are any changes or progress for developing this we'll be sure to come back and update you on this, here.

This is critical as leave requests are calculated incorrectly. Xero is not helping the employer's responsibility to keep accurate records of leave accrual and taken.

Hi team, while it isn't possible to make a negative reimbursement line in an employees pay template, you could set up a deduction pay item.
A deduction item would function the same as the negative reimbursement line, as well as being able to be added into the employees pay template.
It'd be good to understand more if there's a reason using a deduction wouldn't be adequate here.

Hello everyone, appreciate all your feedback here. To be upfront, we don’t have any plans to develop the ability to reconcile clearing, control and non-bank accounts in the near future.
Some of the technology improvements going on across Xero will create more opportunities for us to explore extending some of the more complex functionality from one part of Xero to another. However, we are some way off from this yet.
That being said, there is the Account transaction report that could be handy in providing a view of both sides of a transaction in Xero. You can include the related account as a column in the report - See more in our help article on this.
Alternatively, if you’re using an external system, you could look into the Xero App store.
Appreciate there are also lots of ways others are using Xero’s to fit their needs - If you…

We need to have the ability to clone organisations that include reports already set up for the many client groups we deal with.
These groups have the same COA and report requirements.Jeanette Korporaal supported this idea ·

Hi community, thanks for your support on this idea. We know how important it is for you to create comprehensive report packs in Xero HQ, and we appreciate your ideas on how to make this even better.
We wanted to share that the General Ledger Detail, General Ledger Summary, General Ledger Exceptions, and Tax Depreciation Schedule reports are now all available to add to a report template in Xero HQ.
Right now, as some in the thread have found, it's also possible to create report packs for each client at the client level to manage some of the reporting needs expressed here for now.
We want to be transparent that we don't have plans to make other reports available in report templates. We will shift this idea to Not in pipeline, however it would be good to get a sense if there are specific reports that would further add benefit…

Hi everyone, we wanted to loop back on the outcome of the survey we did. Our product team have used this feedback, and looked into building this feature but at this stage want to confirm that this work is not currently on our roadmap.
As a global business with many requests for our different regions and needs, we are not able to build everything at once.
We appreciate this is not the news you’d like around this but do want to be upfront with you all here to help you make the best decisions as needed for your businesses. If things change, we’ll communicate this with you through the idea here.

Yes! This is SOOO frustrating. So many people do not work the same hours every weekday!
I do not think Xero will change the current payroll system, as this is a fundamental and structural data model change that I think would require a complete rewrite. Moving to another system is the alternative.
