I really value being able to work in a single ledger for the client and accountant, but find Xero reporting really cumbersome at practice level. Anything Xero can do to address this would be appreciated.

If there is an add on that will deal with the practice level reporting issues, I would be very interested. I lose a lot of time, checking Xero reporting and collating combined reports, that could be automated. There is also more likely to be errors. We also need quantities for livestock accounts and budgeting with balance sheet items.

We want the option to add reports from Projects and also edit the layout add add formulas if Xero does not intend on adding the remaining hours for a job to the Project Detail Reports

All reports under 'Reconciliations' should be available for the report packs. Although I also back Vicki Carlisle's idea that all reports should be made available to be added as you please. I cannot believe Xero hasn't gone ahead and made this possible.

Please can we have an update on this feature.

100% this is needed. We need to be able to have a BAS report back with every report we need in one place, instead of running all separate reports from the client level. This includes Activity Statement report and payroll reports

Hi Xero Technical Team,
Along with the idea of users with ability to create Report Packs, I have a need to get Profit & Loss Reports for Total Company, and then have each breakdown Profit & Loss Report for each Tracking Outlet for a F & B business. Each month I spend a lot of time to extract the Monthly Profit & Loss by total and then copy each Tracking Outlet into a Consolidated Excel File to distribute to management. I have to repeat this process each time owner management wants to take position to review the business and on a monthly basis for month P & L Reporting.
Can Xero help me improve productivity for Profit & Loss Reporting for the F&B Biz with Tracking Outlets. I suppose the capability would also apply to any business with multiple tracking departments.
I hope this request will certainly enhance Xero Reporting capabilities.

This is a good start but the idea request also included adding GST Reconciliation, Activity statement and payroll reports to the report template in HQ. This is half the job done. It is imperative that these other reports are also included. We use these reports every time we prepare activity statements for full and detailed reconciliation of accounts prior to lodgment.

I agree 100%. I was flabbergasted to learn that not all of the reports available at a client level can be added to a report pack template at the practice level. At present, the only workaround is to create a report pack for each client at the client level. That takes up waaaaaaayyyyy too much time and is a nightmare for ensuring quality control.

We should be able to add any report to report packs, including all the payroll reports, activity statement reports including the custom period report, GST reconcilation report, ie any report you can run in Xero should be able to be added to a report group. The idea is that each month/period you want to reconcile you just run your report pack that will have all the reports you need and run this once rather than running each report individually.

Agreed. Would be great to have the option to prepare Advisor GST/activity statement reports.

Agreed. I'd like to be able to add Inventory reports to a report template.

Would be incredible to be able to create a customer report pack that includes GST Reports and activity statements. As a business this would be extremely advantageous to have all reports we use to review gst quarterly in the one spot to print and review. then also if an update is made, is all udpated in the report pack when you refresh.

As a non practice accountant I would like to get access to reports that practice accounts use, and the ability to add any report.

This would be a huge improvement. Ability to upload a custom report would also be ideal however the ones James has mentioned will save a lot of advisors a lot of time!

The ability to add additional reports to the report pack would increase efficiency significantly. Would definitely love to avoid exporting several documents every single time.
Also, would be lovely if we could add our own templates to the report packs (for example a firm wide GST rec rather than the Xero report). Adding external workpapers/reports would be the cherry on top

I agree, we should be able to customise reports to add any reports needed to be able to personlise for our clients.
I currently use the Reconciliation report pack in blue xero and am unable to customise in the new report format.
I have been using this report across our firm and it is great for checking the work of other bookkeepers before lodging BAS etc.
GST Recon is an absolute must please

Including the Bank Reconciliation Reports would be useful as well

100% agree on this - recent reports made available in Xero Blue would be amazing to include in report packs. I have a client who requires the actuals and budget monthly comparison report monthly to provide to his finance committee, and I have to manually export them each month to create a pack of my own.

Seems like such a simple thing but could be really useful!
