Hi community, thanks for your support on this idea. We know how important it is for you to create comprehensive report packs in Xero HQ, and we appreciate your ideas on how to make this even better.
We wanted to share that the General Ledger Detail, General Ledger Summary, General Ledger Exceptions, and Tax Depreciation Schedule reports are now all available to add to a report template in Xero HQ.
Right now, as some in the thread have found, it's also possible to create report packs for each client at the client level to manage some of the reporting needs expressed here for now.
We want to be transparent that we don't have plans to make other reports available in report templates. We will shift this idea to Not in pipeline, however it would be good to get a sense if there are specific reports that would further add benefit…

Hi,
I would also add to this request for inclusion in Xero report packs.
BAS reports - would also want to include a Bank Reconciliation at end of quarter and Payroll Employee summary for the Quarter. I have all other quarterly reports included as a consolidated BAS workpaper report. Far more efficient to review draft consolidated report and publish as a single report .
I also need Tax Depreciation included in Financial Statements.

Totally understand how notifications of errors can improve efficiency and handling of returns in Xero Tax (AU). Thanks for all your input and sharing on this idea, everyone.
While we have a few pieces of work underway atm, this is something our team are looking to develop. We're going to move this to Under Review and as we have more info and progress we'll return to share this with you all, here. 🙂

Would you allow a facility for clients to upload a copy of their bank/loan statements as a pdf to confirm Xero reconciliation report balance against actual bank statement in the same screen.
Ideally the bank statements would automatically flow through as a supporting document in Xero workpapers.

Hi community, we appreciate hearing your interest around the reports that would be useful for you to use in Report Templates.
We have decided to split the request for Payroll reports and the Tracking Summary report as it is unlikely these would both be added at once.
You'll find the new idea for the Tracking Summary report across here and this one will remain centered around Payroll reports.
We want to be honest that we don't have any plans at this stage for adding payroll reports to Report Templates. But, our product teams are aware of the interest surrounding this and we'll let you know if there is any progress on this idea.

Hi team, this report has been split out from a previous one that requested the addition of both payroll and tracking summary reports to Report Templates. It's unlikely both these reports would be added at once, and it's good to track the interest in each.
While we have just released a new Tracking Summary report in Xero this isn't something that's been added to Report Templates just yet, if there are any plans for this we'll let you know here. Thanks

Hi Kelly,
I really value being able to work in a single ledger for the client and accountant, but find Xero reporting really cumbersome at practice level. Anything Xero can do to address this would be appreciated.
If there is an add on that will deal with the practice level reporting issues, I would be very interested. I lose a lot of time, checking Xero reporting and collating combined reports, that could be automated. There is also more likely to be errors. We also need quantities for livestock accounts and budgeting with balance sheet items.
