Making bills customizable would allow for easier workflows as our team would no longer need to print vouchers for each bill manually. It would also allow more flexibility to edit what we need to see for that bill. Thanks!

Just a suggestion: Could you please make the bill editable? I'd like to remove some columns from the layout, like the VAT column. When I choose "no tax" and print a PDF, I don't want it to display "No VAT" in the VAT column; I'd prefer if it didn't show the "no VAT" wording at all. Additionally, I suggest incorporating different font colors and sizes to make it look more presentable, rather than just using black font. Thank you!

For instance, if a user only needs to see certain information such as item descriptions and amounts, they could choose to hide columns containing irrelevant data like reference numbers or tax codes. Conversely, if they need to include additional details for record-keeping purposes, they could easily enable those columns.

Have you had a look at the templates? Under the Organisation settings / Invoice settings.
Click the arrow for the +New Branding Theme. Choose Custom.dox
This will download a .Zip file. I have attached the 'purchase' doc image.
You could have a play around with this and see if you can have it look like what you are after.

Then upload it and see if it will work for you. With what Xero can do I think this might be your best option.

I changed the sales invoice into a delivery docket for our boys and it works well enough, removing the $$ etc. Still playing with it though as not 100% happy - just need time to try and have the doc do what Im after.

I need to create a bill for us to to pay royalties to another company.
Because it needs to be sent to an external company we would like to customise it to show our logo to make it more prefessional.

We would like the ability to have two separate fields for a Bill. When so that we can enter the suppliers invoice number and another so that we can enter our own reference / PO/Job code for the the expense

Would like to have a feature to edit bill template so we can formalize the invoice layout and send out to our candidates for reconciliation.

I would love the ability to show/hide the account code and tracking for when I need to print copies of bills.

It is import to have editable bill template because supplier can refund to the correct bank account

Id like this feature as well as we run a property management company and we credit owners monthly with rents received, less Fee and Billable expenses. Would be nice to be able to add a logo and edit the template like invoices. Very important to us to be able to do this.

I rent out owners holiday units and need to pay them their rental income due. To do that i need to raise bills from my side with a breakdown of income and expenses. For that i want to add my logo

Yes! I have a firm in Mexico that needs ALL output in Spanish. Being able to have bills in a .docx format template along with others would allow me to translate the output files into Spanish like I've done for Invoices/PO's, etc.

this is so that customers can print a bill in a different format such as docx for a word file.

Add Bills to the custom templates so that when printed they match the other custom templates

Ability when printing the PDF of Bills to include the GL account information (PV - Payment Voucher)

Customisation of bills - it's easier if we can add the below details in the bill:

Printing a bill PDF - I use these for making payments for multiple small receipts. I attach the receipts to the bill and print the pdf and hold in my payables to pay folder.
When I print the PDF the output looks more like an invoice to a customer than a bill / invoice to pay.

I would like to alter the Bill pdf for easier identification - make the vendor (and staff name) Bold and a larger font so it stands out - wastes time looking for the vendor name opposed to the vendor invoices in the file.
