UK Payroll - Ability to change Pay Periods
We have hourly paid employees who get paid 12 x per year with either a 4 week or 5 week pay period. At present, Xero doesn't give this option to change a pay period within payroll calendars. There are only set pay periods.

We also have the same problem and reported this months ago. I always have to provide a note on staff payslips of the actual pay period in case they are needed at banks for employees to obtain personal loans. It would be great if this could be sorted out ASAP and then I would be more confident in using the timesheets feature of Xero.

We have the same issue - it is VERY common for UK plc to pay on the last (x)day of the month! This means 4 and/or 5 week months.
I note that Xero have ignored this problrm for over a year now, so a good indication that Xero have no intention of fixing this.
Not happy.

We've had several clients move off Xero as a platform for all services as it can't deal with this payroll processing

UK - It's so important that pay periods are flexible. As a matter of fact, it's a deal breaker for at least one client.

AU - having the same problem. It needs to be more flexible to allow variations as all industries are different. I know Xero method is keeping it simple, but not all business models fit into the set standards. Having the same issue as previously highlighted. Our employees are paid on the last thursday of the month and nothing in xero can accomodate this.

We need the option to change the pay period to accomodate 4 and 5 week pay periods. Currently Xero does not give this option - there are just set pay periods which just doesnt fit in with our payroll.

We have the same issue.
It would be very useful to be able to change the pay period to accommodate 4 and 5 week pay periods.
At the very least, to be able to take off the pay period on the payslip so that it just shows the month number rather than the dates.
